Should have sent him some where other than Boo Koo if you wanted a call back.

The company is apparently still open in Lake Charles. They had plans to put them in N.O., but I guess that hasn't materialized.

I've had Cowbell 3 times and I'm just not wowed by it. It's good, but not great.

I also don't care for Yo Mama's either.

To each his own.

But Lord knows the last thing we need is another burger thread.

Cowbell's burger is a lot better than BooKoo's. I wouldn't put BooKoo in a top 5 burger list. I could see why you steered him to Finn McCool's though; it has a "ooh this is a place the locals go" kinda vibe to it.

Boo Koo's burger is definitely better than Cowbell's. But again, to each his own.

Speaking of burgers, I had a pretty good one Sunday at Mid City Yacht Club. The Parmesan garlic fries were legit too.

I keep forgetting to get over there now that they have food. One of my favorite bars.

Apparently all you need to put out a good burger is a dark smokey dive bar.

Mid City Yacht Club has a really nice patio area now. They do crawfish Fridays starting around 6 until then run out.
