I didn't know they did that for Saints games. If I wanna do potluck for Saints games, I usually go to Finn's.

Mid City Yacht Club has a really nice patio area now. They do crawfish Fridays starting around 6 until then run out.

The patio is boss.

What's the story on the crawfish? Price?

Should have sent him to High Hat.

Boo koo used to be solid. Last few times I've found their burger to be meh.

I haven't been for the crawfish yet, so I'm not sure about price. I was just there Sunday and saw a banner advertising it.

I actually did tell him to go to High Hat too since he said he likes pimento cheese on his burgers! That came up because we both liked the pimento cheese croquettes at Borgne.

I had one at Boo Koo about a month ago and brought a group and everyone was raving about it.

I do have to say that I find that they are better when Lee is in the kitchen.

I didn't know he was a judge on Chopped on Food Network, was famous, etc. But he was telling me about how he and John Besh were opening a restaurant here together. That equals a good food connection. I just figured he was a good chef that knew John Besh. Period.

It was alright. Very greasy and nothing special.

Just the sound of Deke pitching the place on the radio makes me sick.

He started by dish washing then started learning chef skills in N.O. When he was 16. He said that on last weeks grand finale of chopped all stars.

I had read that on Wikipedia. Very cool.

When I met him, you could definitely tell that he has great love for the city.

NOLA.com just posted the article about Besh and Sanchez's taco place. It's in Baltimore.

Think you forgot this

Sounds like an upscale taco place. Certainly our fair city could use an infusion of good Mexican food.
