hey will not make a dent in the debt or deficit.

The proposed spending increase over the next 10 years was $4 Trillion. With the sequester the spending increase drops by $1.2 Trillion. Thus a spending increase of $2.8 Trillion over current budgets will be implemented over the next 10 years.

So you are correct to say the sequester won't make a dent in the deficits/ debt if "dent" means to actually reduce up coming deficits and current debt. We will add to them even with the sequester.

So you were opposed to the Jan 1 tax increases and Obama's plan to increase them again now?

SO just keep borrowing?

Yes. You need to spend money to grow the economy. That is how it work. Cutting spending does not grow an economy.

frick our kids and grand kids.

I have neither. But yes screw yor kids and grandkids. Im so tired of thie overplayed argument. If the economy grew, the deficit would be reduced.

quote:

Hasnt the amount we have already been spending and the lack of growth in the economy prove anything to you?

That those in charge of fiscal policy ahve no idea what they ae doing. And we are facing an unknown post-industrial economic future.

SO just keep giving these fricking morons more to spend, thus not making the economy grow, and spend the country into oblivion? I like the way you think

Wrong. You need the private economy to create and produce the grow the economy healthily.

For example, the Apple iPhone. We didn't need the iPhone but Jobs created it and boom...look a the value it added to the economy.

Spending for spending sake gets you no value. You have to create and produce for a healthy economy.
