Weekend weight not shedding quite as easily as last week. Still .5 up from Sunday, but I'll shake it off today.

Another oddly huge drop in weight. This time though my scale wasn't frozen due to the heat being out. Still not fully expecting this weight to hold up tomorrow, but we'll see what happens. Maybe I'm just being rewarded for busting through my previous squat failure that caused me to drop my weight by 10%

Holy hell man, you will catch me soon

I'm fully expecting to be back up in to the 240's tomorrow, and will probably bounce around there for another week. I've been struggling to even lose a pound a week here lately. In other words, I doubt I'll be catching anyone anytime soon.

I got back on track on the 1st and I'm down 3 pounds since, only had 2 really bad eating/drinking days since and missed 1 day or working out.
More of a struggle for me this time than before when I dropped 100

I could see that...nothing like losing a shite ton of weight and gaining some back and knowing exactly how hard it is to lose...especially when you don't have nearly as much to drop as previously. When you have a lot to lose, it's "easy" to start. If it was easy to to finish and keep off, everyone would stay skinny!
Either way, keep it up man!

Was nice dropping 30 pounds a month earn I started and continuing to see the decline. Rate I'm going currently would have been at least an 8 pound drop before I think

well you could always get super fat again so you could see those numbers drop off quickly

I'm eating way under my points every day- this is either the week 2 lull, or maybe i'm not eating enough
I'll probably keep doing what I'm doing for another week and if I continue to struggle a little, I'll change it up some. It's only been 2 weeks, so I just gotta stay the path.

when you say way under your points...exactly how much is that? Assuming that the program tailored the number of points to you when you signed up (weight watchers is points, right?) then you really should try to hit that number and not undercut it by too much. Too little food will hinder your weight loss.

Yeah I know. I'm going to add some almonds in to my diet today so that I hit it a little closer over the next couple of days. I've been going 8-10 points under my 42 allotted points, and I don't think it's doing me any good. I want to lose weight faster than 1-2 lbs/week that the diet plan sets you up for, but I'm going to end up shooting myself in the foot.

We all want to do this, but it's just not very feasible unless you're extremely overweight, and according to your numbers that doesn't seem to be the case. No matter how much weight you have to lose, the important thing to remember is that it's not going to be a fast process. You don't gain an extra 30 pounds over night, and you definitely don't lose it like that either.
Just take it day by day and before you know it you'll be at your goal. It may not be as quick as you like, but that's just the way it goes. Stick with it, and follow your plan like you're supposed to and you'll see results!

I haven't posted here in a while; I'm not really hiding, just nothing to report on a day-to-day basis. I'm still at 263-265, but I've been hitting the gym really hard and not doing too bad with the diet. My clothes are getting looser, and XL shirts are fitting nicely now. I am getting compliments that I'm looking more and more built rather than a tubby guy, so while I'm not seeing much on the scale, I am seeing some results and I think I'm going through a phase of body adaptation rather than just weight loss. I feel that, if I keep doing what I'm doing, the weight will come down.. but slowly. And I'm fine with that. I've found a pretty happy medium in my life with my diet and my exercise. I'm not avoiding carbs, but I'm eating healthy carbs (brown rice, quinoa, sweet potatoes primarily) in reasonable amounts, no more than 120-150g/day and preferably before and after workouts.
Keep at it, gentlemen.
