Damn, that's pretty good. What do you do to get your steps in? I try to switch it up from time to time between park walking paths, hiking trails, and treadmill. I also try to take walk breaks at work but those don't count towards my "active" minutes because they're so short in duration.

Well I get about 5k a day at work so that helps. Then I do a 2mile run daily and 30-45 minutes on elliptical. On average my tracker says I do 6.5-7.2 miles a day.

I heard it's really unhealthy to go below 1800 calories if you're a male and 1200 for female.
Those are too high to be considered unhealthy - those are the #s that healthy people should eat on average

Was at 196.5 yesterday morning, but I suspect that was mostly dehydration. I overdid it yesterday a little (pizza at a kids birthday and bourbon yesterday evening), but I tried to make up for it by eating a lettuce wrap for dinner.

inspired by the "steak - family style" thread, we split a 16 oz. ribeye medium rare, family style. Bad news is we also split some shrimp scampi and I had half a loaded baked potato. No pics.
At least it was half of what I used to eat.

I decided to start a low carb diet last Wednesday so I might as well post in here to keep me accountable. I started at 235, today I am 229.5 and my goal is 210. I'm 6"5 and after I broke my ribs last summer and went thru a break up I started eating like shite and going out 4-5 nights a week. My goal is to be down to 210 by the end of this month.

today is tomorrow. Goodbye Fat Season.
Back to tracking numbers on myf and low carb. when I get back to the slot I'll go back to the 5and2.
Keeping scotch>3 until further notice.

Three days into the diet and so far so good. I'm trying not to change too much at once. Just focused on cutting calories and eliminating sugar intake.
I was going to restart couch to five k but I'm going to wait until I lose more weight. I'm fifty pounds heavier than I was when I was running last so I'm sure that will put more stress on my body. I'm going to hold off until I hit about 275 or so. For now I'm just walking and cycling and hitting the weights a bit.
