Even UT fans realize Strong was a process in work.

yeah three the process should show signs of improvement.

That wasn't a process they were jsut bad.

Yeah, he has the #5 class in the country and will have some big recruits to finish. Don't worry - but Herman would not be doing the same as CEO on the recruiting trail at LSU. Hell he can't do it in Texas even though he coached there the last two years and was anointed the next GREAT coach.

Like I said, O is keeping a class together. Herman is trying to build a class in the last months. He had 8 recruits when he took over. O had 18.

Losing to SMU 38-16 while gaining 303 total yards on offense is like LSU being shutout by Vanderbilt 40-0.

It isn't but ok

Is there an equivalent of HOuston Beating FSU or OU or Louisville? Thats like LSU beating the Jacksonville Jaguars. O couldn't even beat Florida. He had 1 yard to go, and 2 plays and we couldn't punch it in. We couldn't get 130 yards against Alabama. And its not really O's fault, because he doesn't really coach games.

I don't know, but I wouldn't want the guy coaching the LSU program.

If I were you I wouldn't be so bold as to claim LSU dodged any nuclear disaster until Orgeron has at least a few seasons under his belt at LSU.

Spin this shite any way you see fit. This is from Texas fans on the 24*7 recruiting site:

He's GREAT !!! I wish LSU had hired the 6th best coach in the AAC. The melts would have been monumental.

what has O done recruiting wise?

He has landed 1 player we wasn't already commited to us at some point. Hell 2/4 of his "commitments" are players he had committed that decommited because O thought Kiffin was coming here and offered Tua.

Isn't that O's #1 quality?

Isn't that literally the only thing he does because his #2 quality is not getting in his coordinators way?

What, posting the love of your life's 4-3 record in his last 7 games and his sixth place finish in the AAC this year is looking dumb?

Lol@love of my life, and yes this is precisely why you look dumb. You took a tunnel vision look at two coaches to make your already pre determined pick look better. Meanhwile, you left out all of your picks failures and the great wins the other coach had.

It's called confirmation bias. It's making you look like a jack arse. So yes that statement 100% makes you look dumb and ignorant.

Not my fault your gay coach finished sixth in his conference this year. Sorry, but I had nothing to do with it. Will he kiss his players at Texas?

...and the real reason you dislike him comes out. Good talk. Thanks for proving my point about you being a jack arse.

As far as no identity when changing coordinators, I have heard of a guy who some consider to be the best coach in college football. He is a defensive guy and has won multiple NC's recently with multiple offensive coordinators.

You just proved my point.

Alabamas identity is their defensive philosophy, which doesn't change, and saban always recruits the right players for his system. saban was a d coordinator, and most will argue he has essentially been Alabamas d coordinator since he has been there.

Orgeron has always been a d line coach, not a coordinator.

Time will tell. We will definitely know about it if Herman does well at Texas. He will tweet out a screen shot of his phone getting blown up and assure us all that he will be getting back to us when he can. Klassy with a "K"

Nah, instead we settled for a shrimp boat captain who sucked at his previous HC job stop.
