If you look at his 4 loss team, including the team's performance against SDSU yesterday, I have the strong opinion that his rise to fame was built on a few big wins (FSU, OK, Louisville), but with some bad losses to Navy, UCON, SMU, etc. playing in a Junior Varsity League. His offense is NOT what we needed, his defense gave up monster yardage to bad teams, and my prediction is that he will go down as another wiz kid that failed like Muschamp, Mora, Strong, Sarkasian, Butch Jones, and other hot coaches that go cold and don't live up to the hype. Hence, we did good with O leading the program, and the two best coordinators in college football managing the x's and 0's.

Saban lost to Iowa in the bowl when he was leaving us. Guess he's a shite coach. Thank God we averted that nuclear disaster of possibilities.

Like you. His offense and philosophy has underwhelmed me and is the basic offense that about 2/5th of the college programs use -- Soft. I like the more traditional diversified pro style that Canada is going to bring. Every year, the new can't miss coaching prophets are hyped ridiculously. I also think that PJ Fleck is an ADD corn pone, and would not fit in well in S. Louisiana.

Hell yes, fricking A.

And Dylan Moses and Chris Allen are going to be busts.

We're better off without them.

This is some stereo typical LSU fan shite. We missed on the guy, and he went to Texas. Let's all pretend he was a shite coach and we didn't want him anyway.

He's the next urban Meyer, and we just didn't play hardball enough. I'm not sure if any amount of money could've gotten him here over Texas, but we should have fought harder. Texas will be a playoff team in three years.

And all those coaches had a lot of success other than muschamp and given time we will see if he has more success at South Carolina

Sarkasian was head coach of a Washington team that lost 40-3 to open the LSU season in 2011, and was fired for being a drunk, and who's team was not performing well at USC. I do think he is a good coach, but he did average and then very poorly at SC. That was my point.

I am not saying he is a bad coach, instead I am saying that I don't think he has the style of play or the proven track record for many of your to idolize him as a can't miss coach. There is a lot of risk with him as HC as their is with each hire. Personally, I think the O hire with Canada and Aranda is a good combination for us. His 2016 Houston team has been VERY underwhelming.

Some kids want to leave state. No guarantee that Allen or Mosses would come to LSU if Herman was hired. What is your logic and proof that they would.

Literally half of Herman's UH staff was in Austin yesterday. So the bowl game is 100% Herman's team?!? Wow, just wow.

Texas will make the playoff in the next 5 years with him at the healm. Your post is one of the most idiotic I've seen in a long time.
