So are you the owner or do you just work there?
LOL, my brother in law works there. My wife and I usually go try out wherever he is working at. He has worked at Arnaud's, August, Luke, Root, Square Root, and now here. I really, honestly did like it though more so than some of the above mentioned restaurants. The only one we never tried was Square Root. I had the short ribs and grits and thought it was real good. Anyways, just my opinion.

I went to Brown Butter this weekend and thought it was excellent! The wife and I very much enjoyed it.
re: Child 'leashes': Are they helpful or humiliating

All children are different. I have 4. We used the leash on 1 out of 4. He was very strong minded with a difficult personality. It worked for him. He felt like he was free, although he was not. Holding him or holding his hand would result in extremely terrible tantrums. It was either that, stay home, or have a safety issue. People should not be so quick to judge. It had nothing to do with parenting and all to do with personality. My other 3 were fine and complied with staying close and holding hands and such. Anyways, that is just my experience. And he is 6 now and fine. We used it when he was 2 and 3.

You should for sure be able to find something for $60,000 with 10 years of public accounting experience. You just need to look. There are several quality, good paying accounting jobs without the stress and extreme hours of public accounting.

I got out after 5 years. Best decision ever. I now work for the federal government in reconciliations and financial reporting. I may deal with stupid people, but I work no overtime and I can leave work at work. The pay, time off with the family and benefits is also not too bad. I have never looked back.

My wife had one at 7 weeks. It sucked! We were not doing IVF, but she was taking shots to help with ovulation. After 2 months, we ended up doing the shots again. We now have healthy triplets - 2 boys and 1 girl. Best of luck to you.
re: Accounting certificate career options

I had a useless Mass Communications degree from LSU and then completed the pre CPA program at UNO. I then passed the CPA exam. I am doing well and would recommend this path. My time at LSU was quite easy and fun. I did not have to study too hard for Mass Comm. Then I basically took all of my accounting classes and such in a year and half. At that point I was ready to study my arse off and take school serious. I think it helped with the exam as well because all my accounting classes were concentrated right there before I took the exam. I did public accounting for 3 and 1/2 years. I now work as an accountant for the Federal Government at a GS-13 level. The pay is good and the work life balance is ideal as I have 4 kids. Most accounting jobs require that you have a degree and then 24 hours of accounting. Good luck!
