Well since this is a football board i'm guessing football matters more here.
In my respective life? A UVA degree means nothing to me in my respective life. I don't need to defend how successful I am because I decided not to go to your institution, way to further the arrogant stereotype that surrounds UVA. Good for you.

I think It all depends on what the SEC is looking for.
If you want a football tradition you go with VT hands down.
If you want athletic excellence and academics, you might as well go with Duke which blows UVA out of the water in both of those aspects.
