Bump- I have the same issue in BR. Big cypress that I want removed. Did anyone have success getting someone to pay you to take it out, or at least take it out in exchange for keeping the wood?
re: TV Donation in Baton Rouge

Thanks. I'm replacing the tv with a new one. I'm looking for a charity to donate the old that can repair it/use it as part of a tech training program.
TV Donation in Baton Rouge

My TV just died. It's fixable, but it's not worth it to me. Is there any place in BR that takes fixable electronics/tvs as donations. I'm thinking something along the lines of a charity with a vocational training program. I tried google, but it failed me.

100% mcqueary was paid in some form.
Is it possible that McQueary demanded/received a full time coaching gig in exchange for his silence?
Cash dropped into the collection plate. Spread it out over time. Virtually untraceable, except for the spike in weekly tithes.
home improvement question

I need a new AC condensor. I'm only planning to stay in my house another five years. The government has required that use of freon22-based systems be discontinued completely by 2020 and replaced with a new coolant system. Like everyone else, I'm currently set up for a freon22 condensor.
I can replace the existing condensor with a freon22 unit for about $2,500.
To go to the new coolant system would cost anywhere from $5k to $9k (cost is higher because I would have to change out coils, etc.), depending on the make/model installed.
Since I'm only going to be in the house for about another 5 years, does it make sense to spend the extra money to install the new collant system, or should get the cheaper freon22 unit?
