Taking gamey taste out of hog

Hey fellas,
I'm cooking a 45lbs male hog this weekend. I was gonna soak it today, marinate tomorrow and cook on Sunday. My question is about the soaking part to get some of the gamey flavor out. I was gonna put it on ice in a cooler add some water, vinegar (maybe apple cider vinegar), lemon and possibly some Worcestershire. I've heard buttermilk but that might spoil. Any ideas for the soaking process would be appreciated. Thanks.

Injector and seasoning for wild hog.

I'm cooking a wild hog this weekend in my roasting box but I wasn't sure which injector to use and which seasoning to use for the skin. I have the Cuban injector and seasoning that ordered from the La Caja China website but I'm still iffy about using it. I thought about injecting with Creole butter and using Tony's on the skin. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks.

I was there and joined in on the chant and I enjoyed every minute of it
Bottom line we just have a way better D than Bama. The proof was how we held A&M's offense in check. Bama gave up 20 points in the first fricking quarter. We just don't have as good as offense as A&M and they were able to jump on them quick..score early and often. If we would have jumped up 20 points in the first we would have blown Bama out. Congrats to A&M on that win..no hard feelings here they deserve credit and served up the Gumps on their home field.

Agreed but I just think after SEC play Bama will steam roll whoever they play in the NC. Oregon might have a chance but I think Bama would shove them around late in the game. K State? I just think Bama has better athletes. I just wish the game was at Kyle instead of being there. If the Aggies don't pull it out of their arse and win I don't see anyone else doing it either.

I guess since A&M is new to this league I don't have as much hatred for them as the other teams. The hated for Alabama..well I think we all know how that feels. I have to admit..I"d love to see Johnny Football and the Aggies upset Bama.
