Be careful getting into the game. If you are sitting in a student section, you need a valid student ID. There is a way to convert the student ticket to a nonstudent ticket, but it needs to be done before the game. I don't think you can convert it on saturday, but I could be wrong. This is not a joke, you may be denied admission.

Also, there is no sitting in the student section, but there is plenty of standing in the student section. Also, it's obstructed site lines, cause you'll be staring at boobies instead of the game.
Thanks Guys.

While I do think you will win, if we can get in Mettenberg's face and force some bad TO's, the Swamp will be rocking. Once that happens, magic tends to happen. (Defensive TD's, Blocked Punts, Lucky fake FG's, where the ball magically bounces to the kicker in stride) However, all that magic and mojo won't mean squat if we can't stop the run.

All in all, I think we will have a bend but not break type defensive performance. However, I don't think we will produce anything meaningful on offense. Driskell is still really wet behind the ears, and our starting WR's consist of a ham sandwich, a three legged dog, and droppy mcdropperson. As a result, LSU will put 8 in the box to stuff Gilly.

What does every freshman at UF and FSU have in common? They all got accepted to FSU.
First, this message board is awesome. Great sense of humor and decent football knowledge.

As usual, your D-line is for real. Montgomery and Barkevious Mingo (All SEC Name team) should tear apart our tackles. Rumor is we may be starting a true freshman at tackle as our 5th year senior is a turnstile. However, I have not heard about your LB's and secondary. Are they any good? May not matter, b/c our WR's are pedestrian at best. Our TE, Jordan Reed, is becoming a stud. He will probably get some yards.

Our running game is decent, but I don't think we are as good as our stats show. We get stronger as the game wears on, but I don't feel confident about running the ball this saturday. We only have one back, Gilleslee, that we rely on. After that, our backups play like backups. If you shut down Gilly, it'll get ugly in the swamp.

Our D is solid, but our weakness is your strength. We are not good at stopping the power straight ahead run. Every team, even Bowling Green, could get 5-6 yards on us. We are good on pass D. Although we don't have a lot of sacks, we do get pressure on the QB. How's your O-line? Our linebackers are for real, and we are getting Jelani Jenkins back. Our safeties are solid, and I think we will probably get a pick or two.

FWIW, our kicker will be an all american. In a slugfest, like I predict, it could be important. However, in the end, I think your d will do enough to carry the game. It'll be ugly, with lots of punts. Kills me, but I think LSU wins 21-13.

Any insight on LSU: injuries, strengths/weaknesses that could influence the game?

As a die hard Gators fan, here's the deal with the swamp. Yeah, it's a bit of a dump, but almost all college stadiums are. It's not the NFL, where teams get new stadiums every 20 years or so.

The fans, like all schools are hit or miss. Most will leave you alone, if you leave them alone. However, beware of the dreaded ACR (Alachua County Resident). These are the hicks that make Florida the Meth Baking, Wife Beating, Spam Eating Paradise we all know and love.

Gainesville PD is a bunch of A$$holes. However, if you drink by your car and don't carry it around, you should be fine. Best place to park is on campus, but you have to know where to go. If you are new, go to a house by campus and pay someone to park on their yard.

As far as noise, the swamp can absolutely rock. It's steep and right next to the field. There is no where for the sound to escape, so it echos. However, the current students just don't have the passion of the good old Spurrier days. No screaming on defense, and as soon as there is a downturn in momentum, they shut up. I want to Beyatch Slap each one of those Bamma bang wearing pretty boys.

Also, the football team is not the only talent in the stadium. Good God, do I love football saturdays.

FYI, this message board is awesome. LSU weekend is one of the best in G'ville. LSU fans are some of the few that can outdrink me. Trust me, that is an accomplishment.

Go Gators.
