What amount is that?
Rental House Deductions
Posted by RedsPredsTitansVols on 2/6/13 at 1:23 pm
Wife and I had to move due to a job. We owned a condo that we decided to rent out until we are able to sell it. We rented it out for all of 2012. I'm including the rent that we were paid as part of our income, but I'm curious as to all of the things that we can classify as rental expenses on our tax return. Those of you with experience on this issue, please fill me in. Thanks in advance.

Correct. I meant if he takes the lump sum now instead of rolling it over.

If you choose to take the lump sum, you'll be taxed 20%, which should be taken off the top. If you are under 59 1/2, which i'm assuming you are, you'll be taxed another 10% that I believe you'll pay when you file your taxes. You should have been given some information that would explain what percentage they'll be withholding.
Companies can afford to offer these benefits mainly due to the amount of tax savings that they receive. I work in the Pension field and a large percentage of pension plans pay for 100% of the non-owner benefits in the tax savings alone. They end up being just a way for the owner to shelter money for themself.

Outside of one game Charles has been no better than Fjack/Spiller/Dwyer/Stewart.
Charles is a far cry from a RB1 in my book.

re: Heyward-Bey or Britt at Flex?
Posted by RedsPredsTitansVols on 9/12/12 at 4:18 pm to Carson123987
If Britt is healthy and makes a couple good plays, the Titans won't be able to keep him off the field. Especially if CJ isn't able to run the ball. The only success the Titans had against the Pats was putting Locker in shotgun and slinging it around. I'm obviously a homer but I think conservatively Britt has 5/75/1.

With 6 point QB tds I lean towards doing it. Titans fan so i think Britt will be a good flex.

Would you make this trade?

6 pt td league, ppr.
I get: Aaron Rodgers and Charles
I give: Vick, Rivers, Forte, BenJarvis Green Ellis, and Kevin Smith.
Can start 2 Rbs and an additional RB/WR in the flex.
BJGE/KSmith would have been my flex. Now my flex would be Kenny Britt or some similar type player i could get on waivers. My bench is full of back up running backs hoping someone gets hurt.
