For those curious we handed out little potato pims with Idaho on them. Pretty cool thing we do when traveling to non potato country.

Thanks for all the great hospitality. Definitely the best fans I have come across. Food and beverage was great. I did expect to get tigerbaited a few more times. Enjoy the Idaho potato pins if any of you on here received them. Good luck the rest of the season.

also how are the seats in the visitors section? Is it like half of the kibbie dome where you have to stand the entire game (at least you did when I was there)?

Seeing as how I work in the natural resource field are there any cool animal/fish museums or parks around that might be worth seeing. I of course will pay homage to your mascot while on campus.

Wow you guys are awesome with the great feedback! We Vandals do have balls and aren't afraid of much after all we are from Idaho where we fend of wild animals just to get inside our homes. We are a polite crowd and great fanbase no matter what you might hear from Bozo State University errr...Boise State University.
We look forward to meeting as many LSU fans as possible that don't mind the "for lack of a better word" competition mingling about your stadium.

Vandal coming to Baton Rouge

Howdy
This Idaho Alum is traveling to cheer on my Vandals when they play they Mighty Tigers in September. There will be four of us coming for the game day experience since it most likely won't be a Vandal victory.
So I am looking for the local scoop on stuff to do and see while in town. I love food from the sea so I will take restaurant recommendations. We should be there 2-3 days before game day. Plus any invite to a real SEC tailgate; i'll even bring a beer or two.
Also any motel recommendations-it appears the hotels right next to LSU are already sold out.
Appreciate any info you will share with me.
Looking forward to the trip to experience what LSU and Louisiana has to offer.
