You could try corn with any type of regular old jelly or jam. We tried this with Apple Jam and worked like a charm. Just don't shoot the hogs in the trap unless you plan on moving the trap afterwards. Good Luck!

If all you shoot is 3" or 2 3/4", the best shooting gun is the Benelli Cordoba, hands down. It cannot be beat in any aspect, IMO. If you can afford a SBEII, you can afford a Cordoba. Well worth the investment to last a lifetime.

Did you use an outfitter or private club? Just curious if any good/reasonable outfitters in AR to use for next season. You're right about the timber! Once you see those green headed elevators descending STRAIGHT down, you are hooked for life!
