Now that I heard it your way I think it's funny.

Where the incident happened was along a roadway about a mile or so from the stadium. If that is where it happened then the closest security/police would have been directing traffic. What I am really disappointed at is none of our other fans stopped it or stopped it sooner...it's sad to hear, especially in lieu of the Dodgers incident..

They guy who got assaulted was a whole different incident and I hope they catch those 3 idiots who did it, and that is not our state.

I stand corrected, but as I was told it was 2 students, with profanities, which means the rumor changed as it spread, go figure, but that is why most students were pissed by Friday night. That was all I meant.

And actually I offered beer and food to a couple who was getting harassed on Saturday. I heard that LSU fans took care of us down that way last year, and thought we could have done the same...like I said, a few bad apples..
I am sorry to hear of your bad experiences..I love Morgantown and think it should be enjoyed by all, except Pitt fans!

As for the language upon arrival, there were two kids, which were arrested, going into classes yelling profanities and tiger bait on Friday, so as you can imagine this fired up most of the students...sorry, but I guess we all have a few bad apples in our crowds, most of ours just happen to be from Jersey...I'd prefer someone in LSU purple anyway over a Jersey kid in WVU gold..

As for parking, yeah it sucks...imagine being late to class and not being able to find a spot at all...

As for the booing of injuries, your team was worse than watching a game of soccer...they would lay there, run off the field and be back ithe game the following play. Happened 3 times, which is a good strategy, but lack of class and respect to the game....

It has more to do with ignorance than anything else. Unfortunately there are people in this state, most of which aren't students who think violence is the end of means to a verbal attack, even a mild verbal attck like 'tiger bait'. Hence the three people who assaulted that LSU fan and pushed his pregnant wife to the ground, and I am very sorry for the fellow and his wife.

Another problem, particularly foul language from the students is derived from some of our students being from New Jersey. Recently we had this situation with shirts being sold saying 'West F....n Virginia'. Being from this state I'd never wear such a shirt due to the derogatory nature against WV. The two fans I confronted for wearing them where bth from Jersey and had become WVU fans just this year...

So, sorry for any bad treatment, hopefully we can get another series going in the future!

As a student I want to thank those who made the trip, and sorry for any misconduct that may have occurred. I know I had a bunch of friends that mad ethe trip last year and for the most part they said everyone was really friendly offering food and drinks, after yelling tiger bait...and I hope people received the same hospitality as we had offered a couple of people beer going by. Except for the score, I thought it was a series....
