Who else do you have? Both are start-worthy

re: Fred Jackson on injured reserve

Posted by jblac24 on 11/23/11 at 4:35 pm to
Yeah he had Schaub and I told him we could work something out for Eli since I knew I could find another QB elsewhere. Definitely happy with how it panned out, I control my own destiny for the playoffs but need to win out. CSB I know

Made a trade getting rid of him this morning before my deadline and got Foster in the process. Yes!!!

Kids at the U still go there because of the football history despite how bad they suck now (trust me on this one) and same for lots of schools such as ND. I think if you ever get to that top tier for at least a few years, its only going to help that school's admission numbers in the future

Manningham on Giants Injury Report

Posted by jblac24 on 11/12/11 at 11:45 am
Mario Manningham is listed as questionable for the Giants tomorrow. Anyone know if he will play? And if so, is it serious enough to not warrant a start from him? I have him and Nicks and they're both iffy for this week

For real. Why drop the #1 receiver for a team over a kicker?
BTW, Marshall has 39 targets and 24 catches in the past four weeks combined
True, but then again Julio's points were all off of like 2-3 catches and came solely in the first half; I don't see him putting up those kind of points in back-to-back weeks. Marshall and Moore have a hot connection, and vs. Wash I would imagine that he's going to catch a TD, but it's definitely a toss-up on which of these two to start.

Yeah go ahead and pick up Decker

1.
Let's face it, he's been producing fantasy-wise since he got the starting job
2. Matt Ryan

Ahh this changes everything

Bowe, Brown, and Marshall if Matt Moore plays/Julio if he doesn't
I say hold on to him to see how he does heading into their bye week in Week 11, but then the trade might not be available anymore...

But for the WR who had the potential to be the best in the NFL at the beginning of the season and who is finally about to see the field again, I don't think now is the time to trade him. If you've waited this long for Johnson to get healthy, I think he's worth a start and keeping on your roster (assuming his hammy is truly better now).

Jesus Christ you have 6 RBs?

re: Fred Jackson for Welker

Posted by jblac24 on 11/9/11 at 10:38 am to
Yeah thats not worth, keep Jackson for the long haul in this case

re: Eli/McGahee/Maclin for Rogers?

Posted by jblac24 on 11/9/11 at 10:35 am to
Yeah I agree, I definitely don't think Rogers is untradeable, especially since the guy has lost 6 in a row and is due for a lineup change. But he's asking for way too much so I'm just sticking with Eli

Eli/McGahee/Maclin for Rogers?

14 team league and the other team is a contender for the playoffs but needs some help to get into it. Think he'll take it?

re: lost by 1.94 points

Posted by jblac24 on 11/7/11 at 9:16 am to
Always a shame knowing you played the wrong players

re: You win the league on draft day

Posted by jblac24 on 11/1/11 at 1:51 am to
I disagree. I'm in a 14 team league where, after 13 trades and numerous acquisitions, I've managed to get Peterson, Fred Jackson, and Matt Forte. This is proof that anything can happen because I'm definitely liking my chances now

re: Which Steve?

Posted by jblac24 on 10/30/11 at 11:45 am to
Steven Jackson is gonna get his looks today vs the Saints, go with him

re: Hakeem Nicks or Dez Bryant?

Posted by jblac24 on 10/30/11 at 11:44 am to
Nicks plays the Dolphins this week, and they are about equal when it comes to fantasy production, this is a pointless trade

re: Stanford has a RB from Baton Rouge

Posted by jblac24 on 10/29/11 at 11:09 pm to
He was only a 2-star prospect coming out of Catholic I believe, so that would make it a little more obvious why Les was recruiting elsewhere

re: Antonio gates' health

Posted by jblac24 on 10/29/11 at 10:03 am to
Got any other TEs? If so, who? If not, who's available?
I don't care what league you're in, I take that trade. DJax/Roddy are both worthy of being starting WRs; the fact that you're getting Blount out of it also makes it a must.

re: Maclin-VS-White

Posted by jblac24 on 10/28/11 at 5:34 pm to
Why? The guy wants Maclin because he thinks he will do better than White. I just don't see it as worth it based on that alone.

re: Pick My RBs

Posted by jblac24 on 10/28/11 at 5:30 pm to
SJax, Battle, and Moreno imo

I don't like Torain because the Redskins are just too inconsistent at RB

Jackson is the only serious offensive weapon at the moment for StL, and they should get plenty of drives where he gets some carries/receptions before going 3 and out (and assuming the Saints put up some good points he'll get even more touches)

Newton makes Stewart not worthy of playing relative to your other players

I say go with Knowshon this week since McGahee is out and Tebow cant throw to save his life

And Battle should be able to do something on the ground with the starting role in KC

Lastly, don't waste your time with Wayne this week. Or the rest of the season for that matter if possible
