Just watched the entire series. Much better the second time around, especially when you can watch them all back to back. Well worth it.
It looks like more of a hunting boat, but if you're going to be doing much fishing in it, what about rod holders? (I looked for them in the pics, but I couldn't see any)

I've already got a few Calcutta reels (because drag does matter). I had some All-Star rods with them that were 15 years old and reaching the end of their life. I just wanted to get some suggestions on new ones.

Not sure if you asking, but that's my assumption. I can't tell a difference.

And whats the deal with the new rods with the split cork on the handle?

I've been wondering this same thing. I'm not a big fan, but it seems to be getting popular.

Trout/Redfish Rod Suggestions

In the market for a new trout/redfish rod. I've got a custom Loomis that's awesome, but for that price, one's enough. I've mainly used All Star rods (which is what I'm replacing, it's about 12 years old) but I don't have any info on the new ones. Looking to stay in the $100-$150 range. Any suggestions?

Preferably something they stock at Bass Pro because I've got lots of gift cards there right now.
I was going to say awesome boat....and then I saw that it didn't come with the Yeti's.

Now it's just a really cool boat.

If it's fresh, all I use is olive oil, salt and pepper (maybe some sesame seeds, too). Give it a splash of soy and a side of wasabi rice and that's all you really need.
Try Carmadelle's right across the pass from Bridgeside. Their bait usually isn't as good as Bridgeside's, but you will be much more likely to find it there.
