no beer available after 3rd quarter?

Make that after the half. We were at the Sugar Bowl and they stopped serving after the half. Said it was a BCS rule.

NCAA 12 LSU Team Builder

Anyone have or know where I could get an up to date LSU Roster for NCAA FB 2012 PS3?

I found a couple through the in game search, but they have older pre-season numbers and depth charts.
I couldn't bear the thought of no LSU football for more than a month, so I went out and got it to hold me over till Bama gets their beat down.

NCAA FB 2012 Random TO songs possible?

Posted by prplnau on 12/7/11 at 10:31 pm
I just bought NCAA Football 2012 for PS3 today and have been playing around with the custom stadium sounds for a couple hours (that feature is bad arse btw). Anyway, I searched around and downloaded SECElite's LSU pack ( Link) and they all sound great. However, there are 5 time out tracks, but in the game I only see events for TO-Home and TO-Away. Is there a way to have the game pick 1 of the 5 randomly/sequentially? I read a few pages of that thread and did a couple google searches and didn't find anything helpful.
So next week should we expect Opie to post an ad for Dempsey's to return the favor?

New Compound Bow

Posted by prplnau on 3/15/11 at 11:20 am
Finally got my Bow on Friday. Shot it for about 6 hours total over the weekend and lovin it.

Went for the Bear Strike. Was in my price range and felt really good shooting it. Tried a few others but came back to this one at Bowie's.

Posting some shot groupings. The first 2 are from 15 Yards and the 3rd is at 40 yards. Not too bad I guess for picking up a bow for the first time a little over a week ago.

15 Yards

40 Yards

Thanks for the advice guys. Going to stop by BPS on my way back from New Orleans this weekend and try some out. Maybe even take a long lunch and visit Bowie's some day this week also.

Also, the archery range thats setup at the Brec park on Highland rd, is that open to anyone or does it require a membership to any club to use?

Compound Bow for beginner

I’m looking to get into archery as a hobby and wanted to get some advice. I do not have any archery experience and not a lot of knowledge in the sport. Initially, it will just be a hobby shooting targets at an archery range, with the possibility of doing some bow hunting later down the line.

I know I should go to a shop to get measured for the right draw length and weight before buying anything. Really, I’m looking for some advice on Brand/Model, accessories and just random suggestions from experience.

The 2 bows that I have been looking into the most are:
Bear Archery Charge Compound Bow $300

RedHead Kryptik Compound Bow $500

They are in slightly different price ranges and I’m leaning towards the Bear because of the price. However, if the quality difference outweighs the price difference I have no problem going up that notch. I’m mainly looking for a bow that is accurate, smooth, and easy to tune.

I’ve heard and read some reviews and stories of Bass Pro shops giving a small “crash course”, for beginners when buying a bow from them. Anyone know if this is true from the BPS in Denham Springs or the Cabela’s in Gonzales?
