FYI
They all sit in on game planning for the opponent.
Game day it is coach stud. Some of those play actions on 3rd and short are surprises to miles
Just wanted the idiots to see that they were still idiots back then. Pretty damn foolish...
You can Fbomb me all you want, makes you look uneducated.... Look it up in a DICTIONARY
Funny to see all the hate on Coach Stud back then, couldn't even coach an offensive line many people said. Now most are on board with giving him a chance.

LINK

Here's a suggestion for our new offensive cord.
Offense line coach Greg Studrawa. He has worked at cincinati, ohio st, and bowling green. Read this clip from his lsu bio. He took an avg. Qb in Omar jacobs and made him into a college stud.

People don't even want him coaching the O line, much less the entire offense. This thread is not gonna go well.

Eh....I think miles has known who the OC is going to be for over a month. Zack mett is going to come in here if he doesnt like the offense style.

I guess I just don't see it.
The offensive line was pretty average this year
running the ball and protecting the qb.. not
The ran well most of the year against 8 man fronts

I want to Stud to go with Crowton! He is just as bad with that soft zone blocking scheme he uses...I hate it! HELL NO!

well since his offensive line coaching sucks, maybe he will have some idea how to coach a quarterback under the pressure ours have been under since he's been here. this thread is doomed to fail.

Don't worry, people here are trying to say BG is the best choice, nevermind that he has ZERO experience, nobody knows his style and the unit he did coach this year was below average at best.

Billy may be a homerun OC, but there is NO evidence to point to that.

Stud is a much more qualified OC, I still don't want him but compared to BG's resume he is a god.

No, you don't.

Stud is a great guy. The players love him. He is NOT an SEC caliber offensive coordinator. All of the stuff he did that is listed in his bio is nice, but it was done at BOWLING GREEN. That is the part that you need to see.

No. If Studs was such a great OC at BG why aren't other teams knocking down LSU's doors to hire him? Has he even interviewed for an OC job anywhere since he came to LSU? The MAC ain't the SEC. Studs stays at O-Line coach or leaves on his own.

Appreciate the educated reply. To be honest I know the man and he ran the same basic offense lsu does. In fact he was one of the first coaches that spoke on the spread offense on all those coaches conferences. It would be a big jump, and maybe he's not ready. But he would be willing (I think) to be more aggressive in his play calling.

The risk of gravy stains or Cheetos stains on the play calling sheet is too high.

Those BGSU teams with Jacobs and Harris had some pretty awesome offenses.

He is longest tenured assistant coach now at lsu
The kids like and most importantly respect him
He has been with Krang.. and J.J going over plays all summer.
He has worked with Urban Meyer at BGSU, Urban wanted him to go to Utah with him. So must think somewhat highly of him.
He will want to pound the ball with a good line and take shots with play action..
Finally, we have all been concerned with QB play, his Qb at BGSU had the greatest season on record for ncaa. Omar Jacobs 41 td 4 int season. Who is omar jacobs? exactly.
BUT more importantly, prayers are with Coach Krag

Our line was the strength of this years offense. Finished fourth in the sec in rushing. DESPITE a QB who can't audible, or tell the difference between man and zone coverage. Lsu consistently say 8 man fronts and still ran the ball and protected a scattered brain qb.

Here's a suggestion for our new offensive cord.
Offense line coach Greg Studrawa. He has worked at cincinati, ohio st, and bowling green. Read this clip from his lsu bio. He took an avg. Qb in Omar jacobs and made him into a college stud.

Prior to joining LSU, Studrawa held the position of offensive coordinator at Bowling Green from 2003-06, overseeing some of the top offenses at both the national and Mid-America Conference level during that time. He was also the assistant head coach for the Falcons during the 2006 season.

In his four years as the offensive coordinator, Bowling Green played in two bowl games - beating Northwestern, 28-24, in the 2003 Motor City Bowl and defeating Memphis, 52-35, in the 2004 GMAC Bowl - and posted a combined record of 30-19. Studrawa also helped lead the Falcons to two of the biggest wins in school history as they beat 16th-ranked Purdue, 27-26, in 2003 and followed that with a 34-18 victory over 12th-ranked Northern Illinois later that year.

In 2005, Studrawa led a Bowling Green offense that ranked second in the MAC in both passing (283.9) and scoring (33.8) and was third in the league in pass efficiency (142.4). In 2004, BGSU finished second nationally in total offense with a MAC record 506.3 yards per game. The Falcons were also third in the nation in passing (338.3) and turnover margin (1.25) and fourth in scoring with a MAC record 44.3 points per game.

In 2004, the Falcons had four games of scoring at least 50 points as they averaged 49.4 points over their final nine games of the season. The 2004 season saw the Falcons go 9-3 overall, which included the 52-35 victory over Memphis in the GMAC Bowl in Mobile, Ala.

Individually, quarterback Omar Jacobs was named the 2004 MAC Offensive Player of the Year after leading the nation in TD passes with a league record 41. Jacobs was second in the nation in passing yards per game as well as total offense. In addition, his 41 TD-to-4 interception passing ratio set an NCAA record. Jacobs went on to become a fifth round NFL Draft pick by the Pittsburgh Steelers in 2006.
