Anyone know what tickets are sold to LSU fans in Tennessee stadium?
re: Curious.. who thinks Mett overtakes Lee

Well said.
I think Lee would be much further along if Miles would have given him more snaps last year when he seemed to be the only one throwing for TD's.

Who didn't?
Our "D" holds them to only 14,
Lee throws for 3 TD's,
We rush for another 2 TD's
Mettenburg throws for 1 TD.
LSU 42

:banghead: But I still love Miles!!!! :geauxtigers:
You hit the nail on the head Coolcorgi and that is my belief as well that is why I wanted some other opinions on this... :violin: Geaux Lee and then Geaux Mettenberger!!!
What happens when we are 8-0 and Jefferson is cleared????

:wah:Will Lesticles have the balls to keep Lee in the game or will he rotate again?
Dictionary meaning of “Go”= went, gone or going…
Slang “Geaux”= Tiger Fans everywhere…
Out of Town Coach “Guaux”= What the Fx0x!

FYI- People were asking about Les Miles T-shirts "GUAUX"

This scenario is to get rid of the smaller conferences argument that they should be considered for the National Championship. So if and when you get an undefeated Boise or TCU fortunate enough to end the season ranked in the top 4 they would have to prove themselves once more with the plus 1 weekend.
My final 4 results were hypothetical and adding only one more weekend would not take away money from CBS or ESPN because each of them could cover one of these two games.

Ok...Who supports a "BCS PLUS-1" weekend scenario???
Posted by MY2Cents on 11/11/10 at 11:38 am
A "BCS Plus-1" weekend would be the last chance qualifier for teams of weaker conferences and to satisfy the BCS GOD's.
Rules;
#1 Must be ranked in the top 4 after all conference championships have been decided.
#2 BCS will rank all conferences by number to determine their weight in the final 4 match up.
Take the top 4 ranked teams at the end of the season just before final bowl predictions are made. From this final 4, the two biggest weighing conferences would play against the smaller two to decide who plays in the National Championship.
Example: If the season washes out to be...
#1 Auburn SEC weighing factor =1
#2 Oregon PAC10 weighing factor =3
#3 Boise WAC weighing factor =4
#4 LSU SEC weighing factor =1
Take #1 Auburn/ flip a coin to choose which lessor conference team they will play Oregon or Boise. LSU would play the other team by default.
(I think it's better to flip the coin and not use the computer because that is where we are now)
The winners of these 2 games play for the National Championship and the losers will play in the Sugar Bowl.
This would not take away money from the existing Bowl games and we all know that's the reason they won't go to a playoff system like the NFL.
Thought's.........

I think LSU has learned it's lesson in regards to ARKANSAS a couple years ago and hopefully will not be a repeat offender.
This just in Scientist believe there is a direct link between Les Miles "Head-Circumference" and the grass he consumes in Tiger Stadium!
For LSU from here on out the only thing to fear is "The Hat" himself.... Well that's not true...there's also Jefferson and Lee!

LSU's bowl options just got a lot more inviting thanks to its 24-21 victory over Alabama on Saturday.
The Tigers (8-1, 5-1) played their way back into the periphery of the national championship picture, but they're in great shape as far as securing an at-large berth in a BCS bowl. An 11-1 LSU team would just about be a lock for a BCS bowl. The only scenario that would probably keep the Tigers out of a BCS bowl, if they do indeed win out, would be Auburn winning out and then getting upset in the SEC championship game.
In that case, the SEC champion (Florida or South Carolina) would be the SEC's automatic invitee to a BCS bowl, and a one-loss Auburn team would likely grab the at-large spot.
Of course, Auburn (10-0, 6-0) has bigger plans.
With Arkansas winning at South Carolina and Alabama losing to LSU and dropping its second game of the season, there's going to be a scramble among the Western Division teams for the SEC's marquee bowl spots. Don't forget about Mississippi State, either. The Bulldogs (7-2, 3-2) have won six in a row and could really become a hot commodity if they win two of their last three games. They travel to Alabama this Saturday, then face Arkansas at home on Nov. 20 and end the regular season at Ole Miss on Nov. 27.
Tennessee's a new addition this week. The Vols (3-6, 0-5) need to win out to be bowl eligible, but they're off to a good start after crushing Memphis.
With three weeks remaining in the regular season, here's the way I see the bowl lineup falling in the SEC:
Tostitos BCS National Championship Game (Jan. 10, 8:30 p.m. ET): Auburn vs. BCS team
Allstate Sugar Bowl (Jan. 4, 8:30 p.m. ET): LSU vs. BCS team
Capital One Bowl (Jan. 1, 1 p.m. ET): Alabama vs. Big Ten team
AT&T Cotton Bowl (Jan. 7, 8 p.m. ET): Arkansas vs. Big 12 team
Outback Bowl (Jan. 1, 1 p.m. ET): Florida vs. Big Ten team
Chick-fil-A Bowl (Dec. 31, 7:30 p.m. ET): Mississippi State vs. ACC team
Gator Bowl (Jan. 1, 1:30 p.m. ET): South Carolina vs. Big Ten team
Franklin American Mortgage Music City Bowl (Dec. 30, 6:40 p.m. ET): Georgia vs. ACC team
AutoZone Liberty Bowl (Dec. 31, 3:30 p.m. ET): Kentucky vs. Conference USA team
BBVA Compass Bowl (Jan. 8, noon ET): Tennessee vs. Big East team

If this plays out we can only hope in the future that these other high school conferences will not be in the final discussion.
This coming from Ward Cleaver's son....

Obviously we all want another National Championship under our belt but ‘Heaven and Earth has to move first' so what about scenario number 2.
If the War-Eagles and the Ducks finish the season undefeated their both shoe-ins for the Title game. With that said a one lost LSU Tigers will be thrown into the mix with either undefeated Boise or TCU. My 2nd best hope is that we play one of these so called high powered WAC/Mtn West offenses and shut them down with a complete A-- whipping!!!
