If I get to 15,000 plus posts my titles will be better. I'm working on it.
Losing to Florida in the swamp? Looking at the SCvLSU predictions one would think we're worse than the 08 team(that defense was not good despite Lee's picks)

This team is good, and can play better and will. O line shifting was the main problem against UF. I say D is better than last year. Anyone agree?

You can take your Germans comments and place them in your woo woo.

Nothing like the name Crowton to get it stirred up.

Gary Crowton

Who still thinks he was terrible? Only one man has been constant. Miles always messed Crowton's play calling just like he did Jimbo's and whatever is going on now I'm not sure but he's involved. All that being said he keeps winning, and no matter how it drives everyone crazy he could win with his offense this weekend and the rest of the season. It could just be way better if he'd just get out of the way. Would take any doubt away for most games because the defense is legit.

The 2 Teams Playing This Saturday

LSU needs to figure something out on offense no ignoring it. They aren't playing well at all the past few games. Are they going to play that bad the rest of the season? You'd be crazy to say yes.

I think everyone is overreacting on LSU and South Carolina. LSU isn't as bad as it seems, still a championship defense. South Carolina isn't as good as everyone thinks either. Georgia's defense is HORRIBLE, again HORRIBLE. They gave up 44 to Tenn, lots of yards to Buffalo, and South Carolina ran all over them. No way does South Carolina come close to that kind of offensive production against LSU. South Carolina struggled and could have lost to Vandy, and was down for a while against the worst team in the SEC Kentucky.

I say the game this weekend is even. LSU can play better despite what most think, and South Carolina is not as good on the road.

Things are never as good or as bad as they seem for the most part and that is the case with both teams right now.

I agree, I think it is probably the loudest.

The Swamp, more like The Dump

Went to the 2010 fake fg bounce flip game. Not impressed. The stadiums looks like they put 4 sets of metal bleachers up, then said oh crap we need more seats and filled in the corners. Everybody is crammed in their like sardines. Just has a weird feel to it. Sat in the middle of the UF section behind their sidelines. Lots of hair gel and lots of cry babies.
Only good thing is you can walk around the entire stadium and to any section so it was cool to be able to run around to the LSU section after the game.

Luckily we avoided most of their fans outside. You can park near/behind some hotel bordering campus and take a tour bus straight to the stadium for like $10 bucks, they give you a wrist band for the ride back.

By far least favorite stadium and fans.

Chill out on the offense

I'd be a lot more worried had LSU given up 44 points, but scored 51 and won the game like UGA. Rarely do you see defenses get better over the course of a season. You see offenses get better over several games all of the time. The offense on the field against Washington is the LSU offense. Fumbles against Auburn & Towson screwed those games up. THAT's IT. Still rushing for over 200 and passing for 200. My 3 year old can tell that Mett is a much better QB than Jefferson or Lee, he's just been in the middle of a revamping Oline causing time issues.

LSU has a history of not fumbling the ball. It's not like the RB's forgot how to carry the ball. Sometimes fumbles happen for weird reasons, helmet on ball, bad snap, sack, whatever. I would bet the farm that the fumble rates go WAY down.

These are all the easy fixes for the offense. That's why young offenses often improve and are less concerning than defensive problems.

How loud of a crap was it?

Ha, sorry. Load that is.

Bama apologists

Posted by jackso0320 on 11/8/11 at 9:04 am
If you listen to all of the "experts" and their "shows" you would think that Bama really didn't lose at all. "The better team lost", "Alabama beat themselves". Even their players are giving no credit to LSU.

What a loud of crap. They were at home, at night, and lost. What do you think would have happened if that game would have been in Tiger Stadium? I'd like to think LSU would have won by 7-10 points for sure.
Bama still has to beat MSU and Auburn. Neither are ranked so wins over them wouldn't be huge boosts. Georgia Southern only adds to their "tough" out of conference schedule.

re: Moscona is on Finebaum right now

Finebaum was a complete jerk to him for some reason. I keep saying I'm going to stop listening to that show.
He had no shot to begin with. It shouldn't even be a topic of discussion.
That dude is out of his gord. Obviously his poll doesn't mean much in the grand scheme of things. Has Texas ahead of LSU in his power rankings. Crack smoker.

Seating at Alabama

What sections do visitors sit in at Bryant Denny?
It's been stuck in my head since about 12:45 pm on Saturday. "LSU What's Up" "LSU What's Up"
"Of course I cant stand to see a right handed QB roll to the left."

It's actually easier for a right handed QB to drive the throw when he's rolling to the left. When you step into the throw you step with your left foot. Most of the time the roll out throw is to an out route on that side of the field.
