Thanks, I think...I'm usually not one for posting much because usually what I think is already in the thread I'm reading. Plus my husband has taught me to not get involved when the men are discussing! :lol:

In my experience, you want to use the called for hot water because that is what melts the gelatin mix. Once you have turned the powder into the colored liquid with the hot, half the cold water and use the other half as alcohol. We always use vodka and it comes out great.
