Big Woodrow's on Richmond. Hands down. Been in Houston 12 years and that's the best place to go for Saints and LSU games. Welcome to Texas!
Awesome wallpaper Six3. Major props if you created it. I actually googled this, looking for a wallpaper for this championship, and it linked me to your wallpaper on Tiger Droppings.

the coach, bahnsen, seems to be from mobile. maybe her husband, associate ad, is from scandanavia

I don't think they're referring to Scandanavia, Mississippi.

I was saying it French for a long time, then I started hearing announcers pronouncing it as "Gene", now I'm hearing both. Even from Baton Rouge media. So which is it? I lean toward Jean in the true French pronunciation.
What time are they saying the game will be played? I believe it's a night game, but with all the discussion about moving it, I'm wondering if they're changing it.

re: Charles Scott or Cecil Collins

In my mind, it's not even a question. Cecil Collins, hands down. Yes, he was a train wreck off the field and a waste of humanity, but the dude could play. He's the most talented running back I've ever seen play at LSU (personally seen that is). It was absolutely amazing how he could plow through tacklers, while at the same time had the ability to run around them or past them with his speed.

But look at the numbers:

Scott's career rushing high was 101 yards against Tulane in 2006. His longest run was 55 yards against Kentucky in 2007. His career stats are 601 yards.

Collin's stats for his first three games at LSU are the following: 2006 Miss St. (173 yards), 2006 Auburn (232 yards), 2006 Akron (179 yards). In four games in 2007 his total rushing yards were 662 yards on 72 carries, for an average of 8.3 yards per carry!

No contest. Right now, Collins has the better numbers. That obviously may change with the coming year, but right now I'd take Collins....assuming I could keep him from sneaking through the windows of women's apartments when he wasn't playing.

I called the LSU ticket office last week and aksed them. They said about two weeks before the first game (can't remember if that's when they mail them or when we should receive them). So should be soon. Haven't gotten mine yet.
