Fleur De Lis LSU tattoo

I saw a picture in a storefront window in the quarter of a Fleur De Lis with an LSU Tiger in the background of the Fleur De Lis. Does anyone have a pic? Both eyes were in the background.

Funny thing was I never had season tickets until they got rid of AAron Brooks and drafted Reggie Bush. I had started watching the Saints in the earky 90's and would call Hap as Joe from Gretna or Charlie from Kenner and try to get him riled up. Then Hap died and Buddy took his place and it was a dream come true. They actually gave me the studio line phone number so when I called the line wasnt busy. Buddy would always put me right on and say, "allright, here's our guy Bubba on the magic carpet! I don't know where I came up with some of the stuff I said but I always tried to make people laugh!

I just heard Sid from Jefferson on WWL at 8:50pm on 2/3/10, he is alive!!! But his name was Sam and he said Reggie Bush would be MPV! One of my favorite moments with Buddy was when I walked into Champions at Lakeside and Buddy said I looked like Yule Brenner in The King And I! And Sid was playing When The Saints Go Marching In on his trumpet!!

My favorite was when the Saints were playing an exibition game in Japan. I went next door to where I worked and tape recorded the lady at the Chinese restaraunt as a long distance operator. She said, "Hello, long distance call from Tokyo from Bubba on the magic carpet, will you accept the charges???? I think he believed i was in Japan!!!

I love this site, I just stumbled across it the other night. I googled Bubba on the magic carpet and found it. People used to call Buddy and say they saw flames in the marsh and thought I had crashed, but it was all in good fun. I loved hearing my name on the radio!!!

Yep, pigs have flown, hell has frozen over, Bubba is back and the Saints are goin to the freakin Superbowl!! All hands on deck comin to the forefront from the getgo, gonna knock a snotbubble in the Colts!!!

Buddy D WAS New Orleans! I remember calling him one Sunday afternoon after a Saints win and asked where the studio was. He said, "Well Bubba, right next to the Superdome, why?" And I said, "I'm coming to get you Buddy, you're coming with me on the magic carpet to the Superbowl!" and he loved it! We had some good times and some good laughs but unfortunately the Saints never make it to the Superbowl until 5 years after he passed away. He also told me he would wear a dress if the Saints ever made it to the Superbowl, that where Abdul the tentmaker came from, Buddy was tto big for a dress, he would have to wear a tent. Thanks to Bobby Hebert for paying up on that bet!

No, thats Bubba from Diamondhead, there's also Bubba from Metairie. Like Buddy D once said, there's only 1 Deanies and theres only 1 Bubba. I have lived on the northshore since i started calling Buddy

Bubba is right here!! Thats right guys, I'm still alive!! Havent called WWL as often as when Buddy was alive, but still listen to Bobby & Deke. Was always waiting for this day to happen and now its here!!!!!
