What Do You Think?

I will be moving to north Mississippi in a couple of months and I am considering opening a small cafe or restaurant with an emphasis on Cajun cuisine. My fiancee is from there and she thinks it would be a hit. I live for cooking and do so with a passion, and I believe that is my calling. Anybody want to offer a suggestion or share a fail?? TIA

The appraised amount is more than the pay-off. It is residential property.

Real Estate Question

Posted by Smashed Thumb on 3/2/10 at 1:10 pm
I have the opportunity to invest in some property that is worth alot more than the pay-off. If a bank loans me the appraisal amount, can I take that minus the pay-off and make improvements to the property? How does that work? Thanks!

Where can I buy a new drive?

Xbox 360 Question

I think the drive motor went out on my Xbox, but I opened it up and cleaned the laser eye and blew out all the dust from inside; therefore, voiding the warranty on it. I found a shop out of Shreveport called Cheap360Repair.com and they seem legit. They claim they can replace the drive for $54 and have a 90-day warranty. Should I send it to them or just buy an arcade model and use my hard drive? Thanks!

Broiled with olive oil and sea salt...you could put a hollandaise sauce over it or just squeeze lemon juice over them.

...if I am 39 years old, 6 feet tall, weigh 190 pounds, work out 3 days a week and run 2 days a week? I am interested in losing a little fat but keeping my muscle mass or even gaining a little mass. One "calculator" said about 2100 calories per day. Any reliable method out there? Can anyone in a similar situation relate? Thanks a bunch!!!

re: Turkey Chili Recipe

I have used ground turkey before and it wasn't bad. Just cook it the way you normally cook chili. You could always mix half ground turkey and beef too! Good luck!

Rox,

I don't have the recipe written down...it's all in my head and I do it as I go. I need to start writing my stuff down, but I am always trying to "trump" myself to make things better.
