BTW... to the two Virginia guys that made their way to the board. You guys are a breath of fresh air to this place and bring up interesting discussion, unlike some of the other morons that frequent this place (just take a look at some of the titles of the other threads..don't go into them though because you will quickly believe that the entire LSU fanbase is that idiotic). I'm sure it's been a great ride for the baseball fans in Virginia. Hopefully you hit a bump in the road Saturday though.

Thank you, i've had a pleasant time discussing the upcoming game with you as well. I know I may sound like a broken record but expect to see a lot of Hultzen and Packer. Couldn't be more excited for the game

So we can expect to see 2 lefties out of the pen before anyone else???

Not quite saying that. I expect to see Packer in first out of the pen. I would then expect to see Arico, but possibly Davis if thats what the situation calls for. O'Connor is hoping to just throw Hultzen, Packer and possibly arico against yall.

Just how deep and talented is the lefties in your bullpen?? Is it believe that we will face left handed pitchers from the 1st through the 9th??

And yes, you very well may see nothing but lefties 1-9

As far as lefties in our bullpen go, Packer is going to be our go to guy. Has a great arm and good experience. Davis is very good as well, just not quite as polished

Just get ready to see a heavy dose of Hultzen and Packer

Not the same as being on center stage. Sure, they may have some jitters, but the pitcher has to deal with that all game long and mistakes can be costly.

Every freshman on the field will feel pressure in some way, shape, or form. If Hultzen can get past the first few innings he will be fine. I have a lot of confidence in the lefties in our bullpen to close out the game

And you should know something about us. Our CF is going to play QB for the football team this year. Good luck if we play y'all in a bowl game.

you must not have very high expectations for your football team next season if you think you might play us in a bowl

Good to be on the board. Unfortunately for yall Hultzen is good to go. Also, expect to see quite a bit of Packer in relief. Should be a good game.
