Hey there, tinydick. Yeah. You're the only one to whom I'll respond because you're obviously the one who has the least sense.
Check the fricking scoreboard on total national championships. Guess who in the lead.
To the rest of you, you have a class team. You have a class coach. I hope we meet again.
Once more, to heartbreakTiger, keep trying to promote your heterosexuality with that avatar. Your mom knows better. She saw you checking out the boys in the sandbox.
Great game. Your guys outplayed our boys.

That said, LSU should not feel they earned this one fully. That triple turned single was fricking huge. Who knows what momentum that stopped / could have started?
All in all, I have to say that LSU has the bats to win the whole thing, but the pitching has to pick it up. So does ours.
Good luck to both the clubs from here on out.

The Tigers better get ready for a
Good luck to LSU. Gonna be a great one.

I'm going to be watching baseball all day tomorrow. I see CSF is pitching their #2 guy against Arkansas, I hope The Hogs take it to them.
Why would you want Arkansas to win? Just means the Tigers'll have to face Renken and an angry Fullerton squad on Monday. Personally, I'd like to see you guys get a chance at redemption next Friday.
Good luck to the Tigers tomorrow. It should be a great game.

And yes, you very well may see nothing but lefties 1-9
Maybe, but that will depend heavily on the situation. Arico is the 9th inning shut-down closer and he's been fantastic in that role. If the bottom ninth rolls around, we have a lead, and two of the first three batters of the inning bat lefty, O'Connor will have a tough time pulling Davis* if he pitches.
Of course, I'm hoping Danny zips through seven or eight with only a few hits and maybe a walk and keeps his pitch count under a hundred. That'll leave Packer with much lighter clean-up duty.
All that assumes, of course that A) UVa will be able to hit Ranaudo and B) LSU isn't able to hit Hultzen.
One thing I feel very safe in assuming: I'll be drinking a beer and watching some great baseball.
* I don't know what the LSU lineup will be Saturday, but if two of the first three batters of the ninth are lefties, there's a good chance Wilson or even Carraway might come in to clean up the eighth inning against a couple of righties.

I have great confidence in Hultzen, especially against a team that has struggled against LHPs. If he does get into trouble, we have one hell of a bullpen to back him up. I just hope our boys are able to get the bat on the ball when Renaudo is on the mound.

I'd definitely argue that Bracket 2 is on par with Bracket 1, if not better.
ASU is definitely good. So is UNC. But So. Miss and way-overrated-arse Texas bring down the level of Bracket 2. Just my humble opinion.

All of the teams are good. Read this if you want something relevant.
Listen. I'm not disputing whether all of the teams are good. They'd all have to be to get to Omaha. Barry asked why Virginia could be considered the "Team nobody wants to play." I tried to answer. Doesn't go a whole lot further than that.
Now, whether UVa should be considered the ONE TEAM nobody wants to play RIGHT NOW, I'd say that honor is split pretty evenly between UVa, LSU, UNC, and CSF. All teams are hot right now and, if I were a fan of one of the other four, I'd be very nervous.
One thing is for sure: Bracket 1 is definitely the toughest bracket in the CWS.

WHOA!!! Hahaha! What the hell was that all about? I just figured it would get scaled down.

Great pitching.
Great hitting.
Great fielding
Great coaching.
Swept the ACC Tourney.
Swept what was dubbed the "Regional of Death" where it was the only non-California team.
Beat Ole Miss 2 out of 3 at there house.
12 wins in the past 13 games, all played away from home.
Those would begin my guess.
