re: Game 3: Yale 8, LSU 7 - FINAL - Tigers Win Series 2-1
Posted by edmonstg on 3/2/14 at 2:54 pm
A loss by the No. 1 team in the country in its own stadium, to an Ivy League school with no baseball scholarships playing its first games of the year far away from home, is not "just a loss." This is a gigantic upset and begs the question: can a team that can't sweep Yale in the Box go to Ohama? In...

What do you mean LSU's offense didn't show? The last-place offense in the SEC was there....saw it with my own eyes. In 42-inches of HD.
LSU looks like somebody trying to put a square peg in a round hole.
Great writing, Carl. Should be required reading by everyone on the Tiger coaching staff. ...

Carl, read the article...suddenly, I'm overwhelmed with homesickness. Beating Florida tonight would be one for the ages. I can hardly wait. George, LSU grad, Newberg, Oregon....

Great analysis, Carl.
Keep the Gator offense off the field. Lots of three and outs. Tigers win. ...

Cunning...about my Omaha comment, it was intended as an inside joke to a good friend who frequents this forum. In fact, I see he's on here right now.
Next time, I'll make sure to put you in the loop. I wouldn't want you feel left out....

Sad to say it but undefeated comes to an end this Saturday.
LSU is going to lose between the hedges and find itself looking up at Boise State, fresh from its victory over Cal Davis.
Boise is three losses away from No. 1. The absurdity of the polls may soon have its perfect storm.
LSU may...
re: Before you say 'this,' consider 'that' about LSU baseball

For some reason, my good man Carl, I could see myself in almost every sentence written for this story. HA! I am guilty as charged for taking my shots at this year's Tiger team for not being of "Omaha quality." Great article.
