Great post VA. Agree with you totally. Some of my brethren need to have there 'LAST CALL" before the game so they can be a little more objective, and please get the breath mints.
I saw quite a few mistakes that Les made over the year, none that were he deserves to be fired over, while the game against Ole Miss was his fault.
We just haven't had the talent on our defensive line in two years and our offensive line this year. We couldn't muster a pass rush with four linemen, our linebackers and defensive backs were having to run support because our line was so weak. we need another McFarland or Dorsey. Our Defensive line was below average last year and had the same talent this year. Miles can only coach with the atheletes that are here.
The final item, tiger fans be careful what you wish for, look at ND-Wiess, Mich-Rodriquez, yes and mighty Pete - USC. It can always be worse.

I agree with 50% of your post ,My disagreement is with the heart, intensity and pride the players showed Saturday, with three possible NFL draft choices on our offensive line and all the returning starters and depth on our defensive line. Where were the team captains, seniors on the team that needed to take charge. When things got tough Saturday our lines folded. I saw several players stop rushing T-bow on several plays. Even Georgia, when they got down to Bama 31-0, came out the second half and made it respectable. My concern is not whether we can correct the schemes, my concern is the lack of heart some players showed Saturday.Lets hope it changes for USC.

A lot of the technique problems can be worked on. My concern was the heart of the players on our offensive and defensive lines. The offensive line has three potential NFL draftees, they were totaly pushed around. Same for the D line. I saw several players actually stop rushing the passer on plays, just completely stop. Georgia fell behind to Alabama by 30 points at halftime, somewhere at halftime pride and heart kicked in. None of that was evident in the the loss to Florida. Yes, some of the blame belongs to the coaches for not adjusting to Florid's game plan. But be realistic if you were watching the same game, call it a lack of heart, intensity, or even pride, one of the team captains or seniors should have stepped up and said we are not going to just roll over and take this beating. Better techniques can be adjusted and practice. Heart and pride can't and that worries me more than any techniques.
