It's approx. 10 miles NE of Plain Dealing, with road frontage (dirt, well maintained) and electricity.

This discussion is very interesting to me...I have some acreage just north of Plain Dealing that has been leased for a little over 2 years. Of course, at that time the bonuses were much less than they are now since the discovery of the Haynesville Shale.
Just wondering, has the possibility of the Haynesville Shale extending into this area resulted in higher property values? I am asking because I recently had approached a land broker about selling my acreage and he said that I could get only $2000/acre max even with mineral rights thrown in.
