Congrats on your MOS choice. Great aircraft and great community. You will enjoy working on it. Down the road you'll get your name painted on the side as a Flight Engineer.
Keep an eye on Michael McGuire. You all would be pleasantly surprised with what you would see out of him.

It's an SA18 and has a shoulder strap. It's slung and he is resting his hands on it. SA18

Browning silver hunter 20 gauge

Anyone have any experience with a Browning Silver Hunter 20 gauge? Looking for something to do a little trap shooting / dove hunting.
Holy frick sakes. Not crying. Just thought it was funny that I got "high"ger baited. Think I'll hang out on the movie / tv board. You guys are rough.
I actually thought it was funny. Just wanted to lighten things up a bit.

See, this is what I am talking about...

I know that many took issue with my last post and that is ok. However, I just walked into work and got "high"ger baited.

I am not sheltered and I fully expect challenges for my children during their lives. I have made many mistakes and bad decisions. Those choices that I made have shaped me into who I am today. My goal is to teach my kids so they don't make the same mistakes I did. They will be free to make choices, but if they make the wrong decision I want them to experience the consequences that come along with them. I will not coddle them.

Thanks bgsb. Similar family situation, but luckily he did hit bottom. Still a struggle for him to stay right.

Glad I'm not the coach either. I would be getting beat up for a lot more than a post in TD.

That is the word I should have used. Disappointed... not angry.

Also should have never brought up the military service. Morals and values are important to me as a person. Doesn't matter what job I do. At the end of the day I do it so that everyone here can have the freedom to make choices as well as have opinions.

So if you want to light up go ahead. If you don't then don't. By Saturday I will be watching us kick the crap out of AU.

Just remember one thing. I did not devalue any of you guys opinions. You guys can flame me, but I'm mother fricking teflon.

Ok. Had to come back to answer this one. I was referring to drug related offenses. I absolutely kicked them out on first offense if they were caught. I am an Aviation Officer and there is a zero tolerance policy for Solfiers with Aviation related duties. Can't be all toked up fixing aircraft that are carrying our nation's sons and daughters.

You guys are right. I don't know the inner workings of the football team and you specifically "jacks40" don't know the inner workings of the military.

Hey guys. As much as I hate too, I have to go to work. Everyone is entitled to their opinions and I have enjoyed watching the back and forth. Bottom line... Pot is illegal. That fake pot crap is also illegal in LA. I am extremely proud to have been given the opportunity to serve my country in a values based organization. By the way, the Army is absolutely a results based organization too.

I am also proud to be an LSU grad and I am proud of the men and women that represent out school well. It's just disappointing when our guys are in the news for the wrong reasons.

Once again, no agenda. We can use many other people. As a matter of fact, how about we say David Toms, LG Chenault, or Pete Maravich. I'm sure there are some other graduates that fit the bill.

Doesn't matter who. No agenda.

You are correct and have a point. I only see them for four hours. Maybe i should use the example of Brees. I still want my kid to have determination, pride, and character.

To answer your question, this mother fricker feels this way...

1) I was on a scholarship and would have lost it for weed due to it being an ROTC scholarship if I were to have failed a drug test.
If these kids violated rules that are part of their scholarship conditions than they should receive penalty.

2) You do not have to be in the military to be a true fan like one of you replied. I was simply drawing a parallel. The fact is that I had to make some very hard decisions that greatly affected the lives of some tremendous kids and their families when they made bad decisions.

3) The last comment I made about JL was that I want my kid to grow up with determination, pride, and character. JL is not the only one in the team like that, but he stands out.

4) To answer another question. I was commissioned in 2000.

The bottom line in why I am angry

Posted by cdupuy on 10/20/11 at 11:13 am
After reading all of the back and forth crap about the situation, I had to get this off my chest.

I am angry because I am a true LSU fan and alumni. I take a lot of pride in both my school and my football team. I, like everyone else on here wants nothing more than for our team to win every time they play, however life is about a lot more than winning or losing a football game.

The players in question are not the typical college kid who receives their chance by riding mom and dad's pocket book. They were given a chance to represent their school and receive all the associated benefits while receiving an education. They should be held to a higher standard. This is a larger problem of society, and it upsets me that people on here rationalize that what they did is ok. Yes people make mistakes and people recover. However, some people make mistakes and keep making mistakes because they don't receive a harsh enough penalty. When you make adult decisions you should get adult consequences. I say kick them the frick off the team and let them figure out if they can go on to learn their lesson. Let the kids who do the right thing play wether we win or loose.

Lastly, I am a military officer and I have seen many good Soldiers screw up. As a commander I had to make the hard choice to kick some kids out who had enormous potential, but I made the hard right every time. I did this because having values and a moral compass are important to maintainh a functioning team. It's not that smoking pot is a huge deal, but rather the fact that you are expected (and required) not to do it. Some positions in life require you to think beyond yourself. Representing your school in the way these kids have the opportunity to do so is one of those positions.

I just hope in the end my kid turns out to be like JL.

Don't care if you read or not.

What's the difference between the Chinese and the mountaineers? The Chinese like to eat tiger penis soup... The mountaineers like tiger penis in their butt.
Instead of trying to educate all the duck fans I will just find you and call you a douche bag.
My birthday at midnight too....happy birthday.
