re: Did I hear the announcers correctly?

Mike 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th and the 5th have all gone to there resting place!
A loss may help to motivate the tigers! If the d-coaches and players do not get on the same page, it won't matter how motivated they are.
Since 2007 when we played V-Tech, name a complete defensive game we have played? (besides supposed to win teams)

All games including non-conference. I believe the offense will get better and better. I think Crowton is one of the best in the business. As far as the defensive coaches? When was the last time the LSU defense played a dominate game from start to finish? (Not including should win teams) Virginia Tech 2007?
Considering they had two weeks to prepare, I would have to say coaches mostly to blame. The defensive players at times still looked confused on the play calling. This was supposed to be fixed Miles said.

Maybe if we get a defensive coach!
