If I dropped acid, I’d expect to see something like that being used as a flower pot.

It works but it it is extremely eclectic.

 Yeah, I guess it is different.

That’s pretty cool!

My parents lived in Selma, Alabama, in the 80's, and went to a lot of yard sales and estate sales in the city. During this time, they picked up a flower pot at an estate sale at one of the old antebellum homes downtown by the river.

The owners of the house, at that time, were elderly and were moving out and selling everything and told my parents the husband had inherited the house from his parents and was born in the home and so on with his parents before him, etc... They were giving up their hereditary property and house and clearing out of the city which was just starting its downward spiral in that period.

When the cannonball and grapeshot/canister shot flower pot was found at the sale, the old man told my dad that his grandfather got them from the Selma Ordnance and Naval Foundry and they had never been used in battle and his grandfather also made the flower pot.

The flower pot had been at the house since the Civil War. A few months ago, my parents left their home in Birmingham and moved to Florida and gave me the flower pot.

It has a small cannonball base and either grapeshot or canister shot framing around the pot and the feet are also canister shot. Grapeshot was no longer being utilized that much on land during the Civil War, it was mostly canister shot.

But, grapeshot was used in naval expeditions and the Selma foundry made both grapeshot and canister shot so, I'll probably never know exactly how the smaller shots were meant to be used.

Anyway, I thought it was interesting and hope some of you may find it interesting too.

Auburn is the best university when it comes to cleanliness, happiness, and safe learning. It is a quaint, wholesome experience versus a tuscaloosa experience of cheap thrills and syphillis

Sure, it's a hick-town paradise with almost no black people allowed in the city except those on athletic scholarships at the school, and even those have to be back on campus by nightfall.

Everything is great until you join the dating pool and immediately contract E.coli, Salmonella, and Listera simultaneously every 3 months from all the cow shite that permeates life on the Plains and particles of it that float around in the air and land on everything.

If you drink the water or eat the food offered in the city, you have a 99.999 percent chance of getting Cryptosporidium, Giardia lamblia, and Toxocara parasites from, you guessed it, the cow shite that makes it way into the food supply.

Of course, the age-old affliction that has always ailed Wire Road denizens and those in close vicinity to them, Mr. Ringworm, is sure to make many, many appearances in your time at auburn.

If the above doesn't keep you busy, when the retards start burning the cow shite to jazz up the fertilizer, here comes the Mucormycosis (black fungus) to soothe the lungs and make you flop around as you die in the middle of Nowhere frickingVille, Alabama.

Saving the best for last, if you survive, Mad Cow Disease is going to dig your grave for you down in Opelika's little sister city.

That's pretty good!

Do you not understand how per capita works?

Montgomery is the capital of Alabama, not auburn. Come on, man!
auburn is going to shock the world and be the first college football team in 50 years to have white players. They are using DEI for the purpose for which it was created, to ensure only one race has opportunities to succeed.

This is all by request of Golesh, btw. Everyone knows Russians do not particularly like blacks.

What you just said is the geekiest shite I've read all day. You sound like a dork.

The troof never goes out of style though.

What is auburn going to do? Will they be attacking other residents of Alabama, regardless of team affiliation, if the state of Alabama tries to join NATO?

No one is scared of auburn or the Russians, comrade.

Thats why I want SpaceX. After a TD can launch mini rockets from behind the stadium. Then have parachutes on them landing in the stands and field and keep for souvenirs.

If we make Natty and win can have Elon land a real rocket at midfield.

Maybe even give the players free trips to Mars on bye weeks?
This is pretty scary, actually. African American Russians riding War Eagles and landing in the stadium in a ball of fire is next level intimidation.

Imagine all the socialist and communist recruits auburn will pick up with this video.

I don’t think buildings were named after donors until during my sophomore year (I think) they built a student athletic center that was named for the guy who donated the money for it, the Turner Center.

It's all so sad and dirty feeling. Imagine being a promising Arkansas player that NFL teams are salivating over.

Unfortunately, it's found out by the media that the player has a family member, even a distant cousin or step-brother, working for Pilgrim's Pride.

It's over for the player. Tyson will make sure his life is ruined, prospects taken away from him, and his reputation ruined for being a "traitor" and breaking his contract.
Those sponsors now own the players and the team, basically.

Arkansas players will be forced to eat Tyson chicken in promotional events before games or have scholarships dropped.

Ohio State players have been told that they must use Chase Bank for all their banking needs and investment opportunities or they won't be playing on Saturdays.

Washington State players AND coaches are now required to learn, from the Confederated Tribes of the Colville Reservation, how to weave baskets and then allow those baskets to be sold on the side of the road while the Indians get to keep all the profits.

Oddly, Notre Dame players will be required by SoFi to refinance loans for Stanford graduates in a tip of the hat to SoFI's origins.

UNLV players and coaches, after testing to make sure they don't have 'da Aids or something like that, will be required to donate plasma twice a week for Acesso Biologics.

It's getting crazy.
Just trying to fall in love with a woman is now called human trafficking? That's ridiculous.

If any of the Beatles were still alive, they wouldn't like what America has become. Quite a change from the 1960's.

The tweez were dying long before Harvey hit them. boogs had a big write-up in their alumni mag about it.

Harve hated to see any living thing suffer in agony year after year after year in sadistic cowtown rituals.

auburn fans would purposely burn the trees each season because they believed the crackling sound ensured victory. That's exactly how stupid they are.

Mr. Updyke, out of a sense of honor to prevent their evil torture at the hands of sadistic hicks, decided to end the nightmare the trees found themselves in.

We all owe him a huge debt of gratitude.

I don't know anything about him other than he is overly concerned about a man's image on a Wikipedia page. Meanwhile, he has chosen an picture of some gay midget as his avatar. Seems suspicious.

Then his wife posted this image to quell the rumors about him being gay. She said it's very manly to get a pedicure.

I’m sure that Emory is a great school. And if they have a lot of money, great. I hope that a lot goes into healthcare research, training, and expertise that can help all of us.

That said, I don’t know any Texas alums or fans who waste time worrying about competing with Emory. Seems like you are actually wasting everyone’s time here with this thread which you imagined out of thin air?

It is kind of a stupid thread. Money doesn't even really matter in these listings anyway. Alabama has just about everyone beat out and, as far as anyone knows, doesn't have but about 30 bucks in their endowment.
