Are we fricked when it comes to Education and AI?
Posted by Bacon and Egg Sub on 7/16/26 at 5:11 pm
Like, I heard from one student who attends a big ten school - several classmates passed all their in person classes using Gemini and the professors did not even bother to challenge them on the use of AI. Are we screwed as a society?
I switched my political party from third party to Republican

I switched from Libertarian to Republican because I believed conservatives should be about governing, not just campaigning. If my party has the House, the Senate, and a Supreme Court that's generally more aligned with its constitutional philosophy, then I expect results—not endless excuses. I'm tired of watching career politicians, many of whom have been in Washington for decades, spend more time talking about what went wrong yesterday than fixing what's broken today.
I believe in personal responsibility, and that principle should apply to elected officials too. If we ask Americans to take responsibility for their lives, then those we elect should take responsibility for governing. Stop acting like the opposition when you're in a position to lead. I want less complaining, more accountability, and leaders who leave the country stronger than they found it.
P.S. If you're going to warn about the dangers of communism, then be consistent and speak just as strongly against groups like far right groups such as Patriot Front. Political violence, intimidation, and extremist movements don't become acceptable just because they're wrapped in a different flag or ideology. I don't believe in applying one standard to my opponents and another to people who claim to be on my side. If I expect others to reject authoritarianism and political extremism, then I have to reject it wherever it appears. I don't associate with communists but do have friends that are liberal. I don't see them as enemies of the state either.
