re: Hatch suffered a leg fracture Saturday, out "several weeks"

He broke it on his first play of the UGA game, the face mask play. It is a non-displaced fracture of the left fibula.

It is not a rumor, I've seen him.

Hatch hasn't been given a fair chance and now he won't get it anytime soon. He broke his leg on the first play he played on Saturday - the same play he got the face mask that wasn't called.

Also here is some info you may not know:
Hatch injured his throwing shoulder early last year. He could have played in an emergency if needed. Almost had to in Alabama, but his arm strength was no where near normal. Since he didn’t actually get in the game or any other after MTSU he qualified for the medical redshirt and was given an extra year.
Hatch wanted to have shoulder surgery before the year was over, but was still needed. Hatch was the only QB available for practice after the SEC championship game. You know while the team was preparing for the Big Game. Flynn was still recovering from his injury that kept him out of the SEC championship, and RP got hurt at the end of that game. Flynn and RP had recovered in time for the actual game, but it was Hatch who helped prepare the team for the game.
Hatch wanted to have surgery after the season, but spring camp started in February and there was no time for recovery. Hence, even in the spring game his arm was still not back to normal.
Hatch had shoulder surgery immediately after the spring game and his arm is finally getting back to normal. However the only time anyone gets to see him is during the first fifteen minutes of practice, also know as “warm ups”, when he is doing just that, and during last Saturdays scrimmage, when he was suffering from severe back pain before it even started.
Therefore, nobody has seen what Hatch can really do.
Both Hatch and Lee have been working hard to get ready for the season and they deserve the support of all true LSU Tiger fans.

I am sure Hatch never thought he would play a down for LSU much less ever start. He came to LSU to be a coach.
Not true. He only came to play.
