I spend too much time staying indoors and want to spend more time outdoors. Video games had a special place in my heart but it’s time for me to move onto bigger things.
I’m lucky to attend 1-2 LSU games a year if things go right.
And I don’t mean like in turns of athleticism either. Having gone to so many D1 college games in the past year - it’s eerily similar to English soccer - where a town lives and breathes their club.

Am I wrong for saying this?
Sudan, Congo, Mali, DRC, Ethiopia etc all have been taken over by militias. Somalia while a shite hole isn’t even close to those places.

I like Trump as president but the movie with Tom Hanks has greatly influenced people’s thoughts of Africa.

So why do folks fall for the bait? I’d rather hear about why we’re giving so much aid to Sudan, Congo, Mali, DRC, Ethiopia etc

Why are we giving billions to these governments? This dates back decades.

• Where is the money going?
• Are we funding unstable or corrupt systems?
Lady Luck was brought to Boston tonight!
I was also disappointed how they treated John Adams as a foot note. He is the most interesting person of the founding fathers and was barely talked about.
Health benefits and 401K match. It is a low cost of living area. I would have to live in Utica or Syracuse to make it work. They’ve given me a week to make a decision.

Spouse - no kids.
Is it me or is Ken Burns losing his gift for documentary film making?

I got through the first episode and was disappointed how much focus was on Indians and Slavery relations.

There’s so many untold stories from that time period that led to the signing of the declaration of independence.
My problem is the salary they offered was too low. My offer was between 60K and 70K - and they want me to start on a salary of 40K. It’s a full time job within their research and library center. What would you guys do?
Headed to Chestnut Hill tomorrow for LSU vs. BC — anyone else making the trip?

I know it’s basically cold up here weather-wise, but I’m trying to see if there’ll be any purple & gold in the building.

Anyone meeting up pre-game? Hitting a bar near campus? Or am I gonna be the lone Louisiana soul surrounded by a sea of maroon?
