Sadly. This is exactly right.
Didn’t Florida just win a natty in basketball?

I agree.

That game really just shouldn’t matter. Damn near no matter what happens
The obsession with “rankings” on this board is idiotic.

How about the only one that actually matters for your life? Academics?

They really don’t. And they will fire him in the next year or two. Making a huge mistake.

They literally expect another Nick Saban is out there and that they will get him.

As much as I’d love to dunk on Alabama for this, I think every fanbase in the SEC would react the same way.

(Though wanting to fire a playoff bound coach in his second year is pretty insane)
Not well. How’s the couch?

Oh man. I’m sorry to hear that.

Yup. I’ll hear friends of mine complain about their parents, especially around the holidays, usually it’s simply parents wanting to spend time, and all one can do is just kinda grin.

Not saying parental issues aren’t real. They certainly can be. But stepping back from it, all in perspective, it’s a silly thing to be worked up about. The days are few.

Once the umbilical cord is truly cut, and damn near as close to unconditional love as one can feel is gone, the world, and your place in it, changes.

Anyway, good luck to the Tulane guy. I’m sure it’s barely registering anyway, let alone while coaching in the biggest game of his career.

Yup. Just wait until both parents are gone.

It’s feels like every root you ever had is severed.

You may be whole, but you are never put together the same way again.

Thoughts are with the guy. To lose a father at the biggest moment of your professional career is brutal. Especially because he won’t be able to properly mourn and understand what he is going through as he is trying to coach his team.
But that’s what everyone is saying about Texas A&M.

(The numbers show the SEC, even the bottom half, is strong)
Why is everyone forgetting Texas (with the exception of Georgia) had a piss easy schedule last year?
Chances of Ole Miss falling back into the cellar are exceedingly high.

They haven’t accepted the fact that on no planet will they be able to keep up with the NIL of the bigger programs in the SEC.

Enjoy Rebels. This is about it for yall.
I hope you get fricked. And OU puts y’all’s sorry fallen grace program down with the peasants.

Yall had it too good, for too long. And now, the end is near.
Saban is a brilliant football coach. Best college football coach of all time.

But seems to be a whiny bitch otherwise.

Texas has a few wins under the bright lights. More than A&M. A&M is 1-9 when gameday is in CS. That’s a good example.

The Aggies have a horrible habit of completely blowing it under the brightest lights.

They are 1-9 when gameday is in CS.

I know… new team. New coach. Yada yada.

But yet….
I’ve said this before, Tech looks genius right now under the current system.

Last remaining “big fish” in a shell of a former power conference. Spend SEC/Big10 money. Waltz into the playoff every year.
