It's a shame so many of you think it's even appropriate to make this about yourselves. The evidence is demonstrable that Lacy's assumed guilt was at least in heavy part due to stereotyping by law enforcement. This community lost a young man who only gave back to it, and people have a right to demand better from the entire state for how he was treated, from cops to fans.

You've saved no space to recognize the tragedy of lost life or the injustice that has occurred. Your full attention and concern is in covering your own butt from looking bigoted when nobody even took a personal shot at you first. You're detracting from people mourning his loss and demanding better of the community, which is 100% warranted and doesn't deserve your insecurity. Just absolutely astonishing. Shameful.
