Lester Earl and Kedrick Brown both did it.

Braves could do better than this. He's not the player he once was.

What would be more impressive a little if these guys didn't run the length of the floor before taking off at the FT line. I've seen a HS players do this in games after first getting the ball at mid-ct.

So, of course it was a semi bandwagon move choosing them when they were young. But now that they are older it sounds like they have stayed true to their team.
You could have become a Yankees fan in the 80s or a Red Sox fan during the 90s but if you still "stayed true to your team" then today those "fans" are just bandwagon jumpers along with those that really are. Certain posters on here will rip you a new one "just because you are a fan of one of those teams" no matter how long you have been a fa that doesn't matter in their eyes like that really matters. Like those fans can really control what their owner spends and who they sign and for how much. That have 0% impact on management decisions but are persecuted none the less.
I would rather be a bandwagon fan and have some enjoyment in life than rather pick a consistant losing team and then bitch and complain and make fantasy trades on message boards like a GM then get into some argument online with 99% of the posters you don't even know. Pick whatever team you want and go with it.

What I would ask why is it soooo important to like the team that is closest to you? What if you tried to or simply don't like them...should you do it anyway...letting them grow on you instead of you growing on them?

If most of the nationwide Cubfans lived in Chicago, they would be Sox fans. Just spend a few years up here and you will know what I am talking about.

Is there a happy fan out there?

I'm really just talking pro sports teams. I read various sites for the info on teams and upcoming games but I constantly see either people hating or complaining about teams that spend too much money or seem to have it too good. Or they complain about their team's owner or stupid GM unwilling to make a trade or a major signing. Or they hate the cost of concessions or lack of food choices. Or they don't lke their teams uniforms and wish they would change. You get the picture. It might just be the way certain people are these days...upset, bitch and complain about everything.
Is there any pro fan of any team just plain happy or content the way things are with their particular team?

Is it hard to pull for the Saints (or any professional team for that matter) or spend your money on a team that is owned by one of the worst (primary) owners in the NFL?
I understand you may support the team b/c they are in your city, state or region or you support the players and not the owner but when you spend your money it ends up in his wallet.
Just wondering.

seriously this is a big deal, i wonder why more people won't be mad at payton? our fanbase is soft and sucks, this wasn't one of Payton's better coached games.
Care to elaborate Josh?

WTF??? Just finished watching Deja Vu with the wife, turn on the Hornets game...and they are losing, go check on the Tigers and almost fell out my chair seeing the halftime score. I had to do a double take. Unreal!
Like in the movie maybe I can go back in time and somehow rescue the team tonight and turn this thing around.

Kedrick Brown did the same thing as a Jr at Zachary High (vs Northeast) in 1998.
He could fly and could jump out the gym.

The Saints organization simply does not do everything in its power to put a good product on the field, and that alienates a lot of people. I've watched every game possible for the last 20 years, but for much of the 1990's and this decade, I haven't really "cared" as much as I wish I did.
I hear ya...what would you do different if you were the owner?
quote:
Couple that with the fact that the basketball team next door has the worst owner in the NBA and still manages to be one of the NBA's elite teams, and it's easy for my attention to be diverted.
Why do you think Shinn is the worst owner?
Team ownership and management has a lot to due with the pro teams I follow. It's not the only reason I like cetain teams but I like teams where the owner will do whatever it takes to win championships.
