no one is burying the story now, and you still have the hard drive, so tell me, what was covered up? what would have sunk Biden?

US refineries need heavier Canadian crude. A West Texas barrel and a Canadian barrel aren’t the same thing. US refiners already use as much US crude as they can stomach…that’s why the lighter barrels go to the export market right now.
double our production if you want, in fact you can start today, only 1 percent of Texas is federal land, there is absolutely nothing stopping anyone from drilling more. that is not the problem.
problem is we dont have the refineries for it.
historically, what the world was putting out was heavy sour oil, so thats what our refineries are configured for. and America produces almost none of that, we produce shale.

there are virtually no Canadian tariffs of any kind on imports from America. it is near zero.
the only notable exception is dairy, poultry, and eggs (to protect the farmers, we do the exact same thing to Canada, mainly with sugars and products containing sugar) and that is only for imports over a quota, a quota that both sides agreed to in the trade deal.
and by "the trade deal", I mean the USMCA, the deal Trump introduced, negotiated, and signed. so if you have a problem take it up with him.
