Not explicitly. But I think recruiters can jump to conclusions.
That’s the thing. I get what you are saying. Do I lie and say “things didn’t work out” or do I say “my performance declined due to some health reason that played a part in my performance but it’s been addressed”/ “I was laid off”
My biggest fear is really how to explain this in an interview. In my eyes, the guy that got fired is always behind the guy that didn’t.
My worry is that I am not an attractive person for a job if I come in and state that I got fired or messed up.
I certainly don’t plan on saying that in an interview. I get how it looks.
Found out today that I was getting fired from my job due to performance. Never got put on a PIP. I had one higher up that had it out for me due to setting really unrealistic expectations and me not meeting them. I expressed my concerns from the start and even some other people agreed with me. Was only there for 2 years. I’m really worried about how I’ll fare in the job market given these circumstances and trying to explain this. I feel totally worthless and that’s it’s going to be a complete uphill battle to try and make myself a viable candidate.

Feel free to come at me with any advice or criticism for that matter.

FWIW, I am an auditor who worked for a local firm. My experience is mainly on the internal audit side of things.

I think 2.5 tons. Can’t remember exactly. But I know when the guy who installed it did, he said he would absolutely make sure not to oversize me.

I replace my filters once every 2 months. I just want to make sure I don’t run this unit to the ground in a few years

Is AC unit short cycling?

Hey everyone,

I got a new AC unit 6 months ago. House is about 40 years old and is insulated but no telling how old the insulation is. I live in about a 1200 SQ FT house in Louisiana. Currently, I have soffit vents around the perimeter and a whirlybird pushing the air out. One weird thing I have noticed is that my AC seems to run a lot. However, I don’t know if this is just due to being in the south. Currently, is 91 degrees out and I have my AC set to 74. It just shut off for 11 minutes and then kicked back on. However, at night when I put it to 69 and it’s about 82 out, it only shuts off for about 5-6 minutes at a time. Also have no clue if this is bad for the system itself.
Makes sense. Excuse my ignorance.

I haven’t actually read the specific terms of the policy line by line so I don’t know what specifically they could contest if a storm effed up my house.

Should probably read it.
Damn son. Mine went up 400 dollars this year. It’s whatever. I’m still satisfied with the overall price especially considering with the poor bastards that are stuck with Citizens get.
Wtf actually happens when your insurance company won’t pay? Do you just live in a fema trailer the rest of your life?

This state is insane.
Hey OT,

Got a homeowners insurance policy through which Safeport Insurance is the carrier and the policy is under Sage Sure.

I’m new to being a homeowner. Does anyone have any experience with this policy? I don’t mind my rates, but I definitely don’t want to get screwed if I actually need to use them.

Through some horror stories I’ve heard, I have a fear of being with a homeowners insurance company that won’t pay out and just leave town. Which begs the question, what the hell do you even do when they put you in that situation?

FWIW, I’m in Jefferson Parish.
