Arkansas to the Sunbelt?

James Madison’s move to the American leaves a spot in the Sunbelt for Arkansas ……. perfect timing and perfect fit.

Kickoffs

Kick offs in CFB have become completely hollow. The only time they matter anymore is during an onsides kick. Why do we waste time during games going through the motions? Why did they change things anyway?
Maybe but I don’t want to be associated with redlegs Iowa State, Kansas, Kansas State and the intercontinental conglomeration they’ve assembled
No to the danm yankees at KU - if going this route would rather have Oklahoma State
Hogs were 1-2 wins away from tying up the all time series (seriously) when Saban started and the rest is history
What part of my post was inaccurate? You’re trying to put words in my mouth talking about who fired the first shots etc. A number of states seceded from the union. They actually did, you can read about it. At some point, several others did. They formed a new union of states. They had to “re-enter” at the end of the war and the participants bow to the victors (obviously the U.S.A.).

Two countries, therefore it does not fit the definition of a civil war. Though it doesn’t matter to you, I’m not claiming anything else.
The southern states left and formed a new nation, the Confederate States of America. The United States of America invaded the Confederate States of America. A civil war is fought within the same nation and this was not that.

You wanna be in a conference with Mizzou?
I’ll take Ole Miss over Florida

re: Arkansas vs LSU

Love it - have had some incredible games with LSU and am very thankful to have them back ….. even if they will beat us 7/10 times
Arkansas has won 2-3 division championships I believe
Rice would also be a decent fit
If you draw your line at the Mississippi then Arkansas will have to settle for MidSouth like Memphis - the same rule would apply to Louisiana
Don’t know that we can count Dan Hampton - born in OK
Those are some great picks y’all. As far as pure athletic ability, one would have to consider Matt Jones and Darren McFadden. Sports Figure would be Bear Bryant, no question.

Ah, frick you boys. I’m 71 and pulled out a hat I could wear in the drink. If you’re not a Sigma Chi, I understand why this would upset you.
Some good ideas. I’d rather not take Texas Tech or UCF if we can help it.
