Works fine in comparison to the jet? No noticeable difference?

I don’t even care if it takes a few minutes longer to boil.
Yes I’ve gathered everyone says to do that (which I will), but could apply the same logic to the 200k btu burner as well and get even more than 200k btu. And still not having the noise.

I just didn’t know if there was some weird science-y reason why everyone says jet burners are king - I.e. “it concentrates the flame, which does x”

Seems like there’s not really a reason why they are better form what I’ve seen thus far. Perhaps just a thing of the past.
I’m looking to get a new burner for crawfish. Ideally can use it for other frying, but have an old Turkey fryer that works if not.

Everyone I talk to says to use a double jet. Just looking strictly at the numbers, most double jet are 180k Btu.

This one is 200k btu, but not a jet burner. And more quiet. What am I missing? Are the Btu not is important as I’m thinking?
