Ankle Sprain
Posted by PopOff on 6/7/22 at 12:52 pm
Hello,
Long time lurker who has used the invaluable info on this board for quite some time. I sprained my ankle on Memorial Day and curious of the boards thoughts on how much time off I should (you would) take before resuming lifting (currently running PPSA Pool Season.)
I can get around fine and bear weight without any pain but the ankle is still slightly tender and hasn't recovered full range of motion yet. Was thinking about starting up again today (scheduled for a small batch of heavyish squats) but think I may be better served to wait a few more days.
Is there any kind of protocol I should follow prior to getting back to it or just start doing some light reps to see how my ankle reacts?
