Only been once so nothing to compare to in the area, but we stayed here and enjoyed it. Right on the backside of town, walkable to Elkhorn Ave. (although no sidewalks for a little bit), as with most of Estes, elk were always in the yard. Good deck with a grill for steaks from The Country Market down the road.

I’ll second the SpotOn. Been having it about 6 months with no complains. Spent a few minutes for two days training on the boundaries and he really hasn’t tested it at all.Has an audible, vibration, then electric correction depending on the distance to the boundary. I actually removed the studs now that I feel comfortable with him respecting the boundary. One caveat, with the GPS, the boundaries can drift up to 10 feet so I wouldn’t mark the boundary close to somewhere the dog will hang out. But with 3 acres, it shouldn’t be a big issues for you.

What part of town are you in?

Village at Breckenridge, looks to be right off main street at peak 9.

Just let me know if you have any questions about restaurants, bars, activities, etc.

You have any can’t miss restaurants on your list?
Thanks for the insight! Just booked for July 15 through the following week. Probably get in to late to enjoy the brew festival, but will for sure check out the Wine & Jazz Fest on the Sunday. Kinda bummed we can’t make the weekend of the Bacon & Bourbon Fest, sounds like a cool one to check out.

Don’t have it booked yet but found a condo with both available dates right now. Trying to decided and get it booked today or tomorrow before it’s gone.

Breckenridge - June or July?

Posted by Cajun1915 on 4/30/23 at 9:22 pm
Currently planning a family vacation to Breck this summer. Was originally looking at early June, but looks like the summer season doesn’t start until June 17 so a lot of the summer mountain activities will not be open yet. Any insight if it’d be better to wait and go mid July? Is the typical weather a big difference between the two? Crowds?

FWIW, will have 2 kids under 4yo so wouldn’t be doing more than a handful of those activities anyway. Planning more to hit some easy to moderate hiking trails.
Great News!! I’m glad this was a win but kinda wish it would have been discharged and blown up in JBE’s face more main stream

Main thing for all to remember is who was willing to throw the kids under the bus for political gain. Mainly Cortez, Mills, and Pope.
Any updates from the inside today? Don't like that this keeps dragging out.
FWIW I emailed all (R) Senators (not that the R means anything with these clowns) multiple times. Only received 2 responses. One from Hensgens saying they are looking into options and the below from McMath:

“How this is going to play out from here:
A Senator must file a petition/ motion to "discharge" the bill from eh committee. I understand that those conversations are already happening. Once the motion is filed, there will be a vote and we need 20 Senators to support the motion.
If we have 20, then there will be a full debate on the Senate Floor, just like a normal bill, and then a vote to see if it passes.

What we aren't clear on is the timing. Sometimes bills have to "lay over" on the calendar, but what we are hearing, that won't be the case. So when the petition is filed, this will all unfold rapidly.”

So I guess there’s some hope that some of our politicians will stand up to the powers that be.

Thanks for Staying up with this Truth

I've been emailing and calling since this failed in committee on Wednesday. We need to override the pressure JBE is putting to kill this and get this to the floor!

Just curious, what's the reasoning for these four senators in particular? Are they for this or are they the resistance? Would like to tailor fit emails to them.
