re: Volodymyr Zelenskyy. Something doesn't sit right about this fellow.

I am in agreement with you and the original posting. Anytime someone speaks about faith and Bible Prophecy you will have people making fun or throwing off on their viewpoints on the subject. I have been thinking the same thing for a while and glad others are looking for our Lord's return through the signs Jesus spoke about.
Matthew 24:6-8 Jesus said to the disciples on the Mt. of Olives, "You will hear of wars and rumors of wars, but see to it that you are not alarmed. Such things must happen, but the end is still to come.[u] 7 Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes in various places. 8 All these are the beginning of birth pains". [u]
The key to this passage is things must and will occur before the beginning of the end. To that point, people will always mock and poke fun at someone for what the Bible tells us regarding prophecy.
II Peter 3:3-4 Peter tells us mockers will come with their mocking saying to The Church, "Where is he? Everything has been as it always has with no change since Christ paid the penalty of sin and died on the cross"?
I believe that the antichrist is alive in the world today because of 1st John 4:1-6. I believe he has to be of Jewish decent and will be a part of the revived Roman Empire. In the book of Daniel, King Nebuchadnezzar's dream focused on a huge image that represented future kingdoms to come (Daniel 2). According to Daniel 2:40, “And the fourth kingdom shall be as strong as iron, inasmuch as iron breaks in pieces and shatters everything; and like iron that crushes, that kingdom will break in pieces and crush all the others.” The legs of iron and the feet of iron and clay represent Rome. This conclusion cannot be proven by citing references in the Bible, but there is no way for it to be anything else because history proves Rome is the fourth kingdom. In the text, iron is used fourteen times, and the iron legions of Rome have been vaunted for centuries. Rome possessed superior iron-forging technology, and she ruled the Mediterranean world with an iron fist. Rome was iron.
To add to this point Daniel 2:41-43 goes on to say, "Whereas you saw the feet and toes, partly of potter’s clay and partly of iron, the kingdom shall be divided; yet the strength of the iron shall be in it, just as you saw the iron mixed with ceramic clay. And as the toes of the feet were partly of iron and partly of clay, so the kingdom shall be partly strong and partly fragile. As you saw iron mixed with ceramic clay, they will mingle with the seed of men; but they will not adhere to one another, just as iron does not mix with clay". According to this prophecy, there will be a time in the future when the Roman Empire will divide into ten sections (ten toes). As we know from history, that has not yet happened, and Napoleon destroyed the last traces of the Holy Roman Empire in 1806. At this point, there has never been a ten-fold edition of the Roman Empire, yet the Bible indicates there will be a renewed Roman kingdom on this earth when Jesus returns.
With all that being said, if you look at the map of Europe, Ukraine (or a part of it close to the Black Sea) was a part of the Old Roman Empire. Looking up where Zelensky was born, Kryvyi Rih it seems to fit the description of him being of Roman decent.
The one thing that I am having trouble with about the theory of Zelensky being the anti-christ is where it talks about him having no regard for women (Daniel 11:37). If it means what I think it means Zelensky would not fit that description because as you know he is married.
All that being said, I think it's a plausible theory, but let's not get hung up on who it is rather, ensure we are full filling Christ's last commandment to go in to all the world and spread the Good News that Jesus is alive and Lord of All providing us unconditional Grace for our sins if we repent and follow him! God Bless!!
