It's been widely reported in the liberal media.
More than 100 groups demand Biden end unlawful drone strikes
I'm pretty sure those are all liberal groups demanding an end to the strikes. Could be wrong though.
Honestly, I think he does.
It works like this:
If your daughter was dating R Kelly for the last four years, then starts dating a normal douchebag, the douchebag will probably get a pass.

Really? If you rank the states by who receives the most Federal aid, the first 10 are red states. 9 of the top ten are red.
Blue states carry red states
I think most people want basic things:
Healthcare
Decent roads
Decent jobs
Education
Most people want to work and live a decent life. We used to have a country like that.

Really?
Every single democrat would vote to replace the electoral college with a straight majority vote.
And every single republican would vote to keep the status quo.
Why?
Because everyone knows that more people vote dem in this country.
Instead of denying that. Maybe ask why.

This is the "liberal" media reporting on the fact that children were killed in the airstrikes.
Axios: Pentagon investigating 10 civilians killled in airstrike
CNN
New York Times
Please show me how the conservative media does the same.
The idea that Dems get a pass doesn't wash.
Trump did a lot of horrible, dishonest, and irresponsible, things. The media reported on it.
Telling you my honest opinion about something and providing links and not calling anyone names is not a troll. Wish that people could tallk about things here.
re: Just curious. Is Hurricane Ida Trump’s fault?

Just curious.
Did the media make up Ida to distract from Afghanistan?

"There have been 2,243 drone strikes in the first two years of the Trump presidency, compared with 1,878 in Mr Obama's eight years in office, according to the Bureau of Investigative Journalism, a UK-based think tank. That was just in 2019."
Trump revokes Obama rule requiring reporting of drone deaths
Of course, Biden put the rule back in once elected. How was Trump different from the Necons again?
Yes, we wanted decency returned to the White House. And Children dying is horrible. But this attempt to paint Biden as ghoulish is beyond.
Most people on this board wanted us out of Afghanistan. And who did it?
Biden.

Yeah, these guys are terrible.

What about the landlords? Why should they be forced to let someone live in their property for free?
The vast majority of landlords aren't wealthy. They are stuck paying for something, while another person gets a freebie.
Do landlords get "mortgage" protection from the mortgage company?
I think these are legitimate points. I didn't get any help on my commercial lease.
But the Democrats are not trying to subjugate the lower class. They're trying to help them.
And I also think they're trying to help the middle class as well.

Of course, PJB wants people to get vaccinated. That's what he believes in.
Biden would never withhold hurricane relief funds. Not in his DNA.
Trump aides lobbied to withhold funds

If you truly believe in open borders, censorship, gun confiscation, the subjugation of a lower class and education for only a certain swath of society, I get why you’d vote for Biden. I may not agree with you, but at least I’d respect that you have different political leanings and vote in a way consistent with them. It’s the Biden voters that claim they’re not for the politics Biden clearly espouses/enacts that drive me crazy. I have an extremely intelligent older brother like that. Seriously smart dude, but clueless to the realities of the politics he supports.
This is a sincere, bottom my heart response. You may disagree with the policies to get there. But I don't understand how someone can think that Democrats are trying to subjugate the lower class:
Everything that Biden has done has been to try to help the lower class: eviction protection, extended unemployment benefits, monthly payments for child care,
free tuition for community colleges, expanded healthcare, raised minimum wage. That's all for the lower class.
Only Democrats do that. Republicans vote against that.
(Although politicians like Elise Stefanik in New York will vote against those things and then put up billboards in her district saying help is on the way! because she know, in fact, those policies are popular with the people who need them. McCArthy did the same thing.)
Call him old all you want. But he is trying to help the lower class--people like AOC want that too. Of course, they're called Marxists for it.
re: Who voted for Joe Biden?
Posted by CCarson on 8/29/21 at 7:00 pm to colbyjackcheese
I voted for Biden.
He has the experience and he knows what he's doing.
Trump's handling of the virus, and, in turn, the economy, was a complete disaster. With Biden we at least have someone who gives a shite.
Last month, 1 million jobs were created. That's even having to deal with millions of people who seem to want to sabotage everything by not getting vaccinated.
Biden had to deal with so many things--like Trump's Neville Chamberlain act announcing he had some kind of deal with the Taliban. What a joke.
But Biden's making progress in spite of those things.

You don't think Biden gives a shite? Seriously.
I think the dude just wants to do what he thinks is right. Disagree? Okay. But why Stalin?
I mean, weren't people on this board cheering for the possibility of military tribunals and suspending elections just a few months ago. OMB calling election officials and asking them to find votes.
Doesn't that seem a little more Stalinish?

Interesting take. In summary, Trump was not playing nice in the Swamp and he had to be ejected.
What should be clear is that McConnell, Graham, Cruz et al. didn't think for themselves.
They caved in because Trump threatened them. They went along with him for the sole reason of staying in office. Right?
That is the definition of the Swamp.
No one's pretending.

But Trump had a signed agreement with the Taliban?
F Biden.
Get up to 400,000 dead, bribing a foreign country to announce a fake investigation into a political rival, and trying to overthrow Congress and we'll talk.
Until then, OMB says hold my beer.
