You are exactly right in your thoughts. And just FYI, Donald J Trump made a donation to the United Cajun Navy to assist in the SAR and that to me speaks volumes about the man. I am in awe that someone who has no "skin in the game" anymore, and who no longer has any political affiliation or reason to do so, stepped up and did what so many others could but don't.
Found in the other engine room. So devastating.
Sorry, read that wrong. They are still searching the other engine room and the control room.
1-David Ledet- Captain found near wreck- most likely went down with the ship and was sucked out when portholes exploded under water pressure
2-Ernest Williams- Found 33 miles away- near Cocodrie- was the one who fell in the water
3-Lawrence Warren- found in boat on Level 2 I think
4-James Wallingsford & Anthony Hartford- found together in Hull engine room on port side- may or may not be the two that were previously on the hull and went back in

6 rescued from water that night
8 souls still missing
Actually, the galley is the MOST likely place. When we go out there is always a muster station for emergencies, so more than likely the Captain had everyone muster in the galley, which is part of the main deck and the fastest escape if the boat starts taking on water. Jumping overboard is safer and easier than trying to navigate flights of stairs etc. but the Captain had no idea he was gonna end up flipping. More than likely the ones that got out were out the door and jumped or were thrown overboard during the flip. This also explains why there was nobody found in the galley- door was probably already open when it went under water.
I still want to know what happened to the rescue pod spotted near ST37 on Wednesday.
Could this be related to the earlier spotted survival pod seen floating near ST37? Please let us know if this is truthful information that an additional person has been found. Families are desperate for information.
