Question about amending soil for the landscape gurus

I recently received my soil test back from LSU and I’ve purchased the lime, lesco all purpose fertilizer, and phosphate. Is it better to wait for a few dry days before applying the fertilizer? I’m in mandeville and I’ve been holding off because of all the rain, but does it matter?...
